The hotel is in Soho and nestled around the corner from Oxford Street, conveniently located near the Tottenham Station. A few blocks away you’ll find the iconic Bond Street, known for high end shopping and an amazing light display.
The EDITION is comprised of five Georgian townhouses, originally built in the early 19th century. The hotel recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary and is the first hotel within the EDITION Hotel group. The hotel is made up of 173 guest rooms and suites, including family suites that can accommodate up to five individuals. The Penthouse offers an impressive 2,098 sq. ft. lay out with a separate living and dining area, pantry, large bathroom with an additional guest bath and three large outdoor terraces. The sophisticated minimal décor and Le Labo products can be found in each room, no matter what room category you choose.
If you are looking to stay active during your travel the hotel has a fully equipped gym.
When you enter the property, you will feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. The lobby has stayed true to the original architecture with large marble columns and intricate molding. The fireplace is a great spot to have a cup of tea or an espresso midafternoon. The lobby also offers a full-service bar. If you’re looking for a change of scenery, the Punch Room is down the hall and is a “modern reincarnation of London’s 19th-century private clubs”. The wood paneled bar doles out craft cocktails and their signature Milk Punch.
As a client of mine your stay will include breakfast at Berners Tavern, located right next door to the lobby. The restaurant is run by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton. They offer an all-day menu, becoming a sought-after restaurant for tourists and locals.
