They have a car service they will schedule for you to take you to the ski lifts of your choice, as well as to the ski rental if needed. On the bottom floor is a ski locker room in which you can store all your gear until you need it next. They also handle any returns back to the store for you. Everything was done with such ease, and for a first-time skier, I was very grateful!

The gym onsite, has everything you need from cardio equipment to free weights and weight machines. The spa is so tranquil and relaxing. The heated pool has an area for you to lay in a lounge like chair with the opportunity to turn on the jets for those sore muscles. The spa is further equipped with a Turkish bath, steam room, sauna and cold tub. Let’s just say I spent quite a bit of time in there after my first day skiing!

Snow Mobile Safari
The breakfast is buffet-style, but you can also order a la carte from the menu. They have a bar open all day for your coffee or apertivo/digestivo needs. I did not eat at the restaurant on location as I wanted to explore more of the town. However, the menu looked delicious, and it was more on the upscale side. I’ll definitely have to try it next time! All-in-all, I would highly recommend staying at Rosapetra for your next ski vacation (or spring/summer for hiking!).

View from Hotel
The resort offers a free shuttle to and from the main town (it’s about a 10 minute drive or less). You can also use their car service as well, which is not complimentary. I also booked a really fun snow mobile safari nearby, which the concierge helped me with arranging, as well as a dinner plus "Bubbles in a barrel" experience. I would highly recommend this, especially if you're traveling with your significant other. It offers stunning views of the mountains, a bottle of Prosecco and charcuterie, all while relaxing in a hot tub.

Need to know
Getting to Cortina D’Ampezzo isn’t necessarily the easiest/quickest as there is no major train station or airport nearby. From the Venice train station, I arranged a car service via DayTrip. Rosapetra is about a two-hour drive from there.
