Cruising in Luxury: An Unforgettable Journey on Celebrity's Beyond

My week on Celebrity Beyond was a dream come true. This stunning ship, part of the acclaimed Edge series, sets new standards for luxury while staying true to the beloved Celebrity experience. With 17 decks brimming with 32 different culinary experiences, including the debut of world-renowned chef Daniel Boulud's signature restaurant at sea, Le Voyage, you are in for an exquisite journey. Get ready to be amazed as Nate Berkus, one of the Design Ambassadors, unveils the breathtaking two-story sunset bar, promising to captivate both seasoned cruisers and first-time travelers. You can spend your days lounging at the Eden Cafe or the Resort Deck, with its inviting 25-foot-long pool, or escaping to The Solarium, a tranquil oasis exclusively for adults, boasting a stunning glass-dome area for unparalleled views while you relax in the pool or unwind in the hot tub.

From sunrise to sunset, Celebrity Beyond offers activities to suit everyone. Bask in the poolside competitions, sample delightful whiskey tastings, dance the night away and enjoy the entertainment that sets the stage for unforgettable evenings. This ship caters to those seeking an upscale experience, promising upscale dining and pampering spa indulgences. My stateroom with an infinity veranda provided vistas that delighted my senses “beyond” measure…get it?

Embarking on a week-long voyage that took me to St. Marteen, St. Thomas USVI, and Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, I was in for an awe-inspiring journey. After two blissful days at sea, we arrived on St. Marteen, a mesmerizing Caribbean paradise blending Dutch and French influences. Pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters and awe-inspiring landscapes beckon, offering a choice between serene relaxation and thrilling water sports. As a shopping haven with duty-free delights, I wandered from store to store, followed by a wonderful lunch and leisurely stroll through the charming downtown area.

Next, we docked at St. Thomas USVI, an island brimming with lush green hills, a vibrant town, and a tropical allure that is unmatched. Opting for a tour of the island, I ascended to Mountain Top, feasting my eyes on the famous stunning vistas of Magen's Bay and the nearby islands. My day in St. Thomas culminated with a leisurely walk through the heart of the city before rejoining the ship for a night of fine dining.

The final port of call was Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, a destination steeped in history and culture. Exploring the impressive fort and town square, I delved into the rich heritage of Puerto Plata. For the adventurous souls, nearby beaches and a tour of the 27 waterfalls beckon, promising adrenaline-fueled escapades in nature's embrace. Puerto Plata’s port is an experience with myriad restaurants, bars, a lazy river and a pool.

As my magical week on board Celebrity Beyond came to an end, one last day at sea provided the perfect opportunity to unwind at The Spa with a massage. The Spa features The SEA Thermal Suite, with eight nature-inspired therapeutic experiences including a Crystalarium, infrared thermal suite and a Salt Room. This is the perfect ending to the perfect week.

Celebrity's Beyond has it all - an enchanting ship with an exquisite design, sumptuous cuisine and libations. A plethora of activities, and unforgettable destinations to explore.
