Whether you’re after an outdoor adventure, a luxe spa weekend or a good old fashioned beach getaway, we've got news for you: you don't have to travel as far as you might think. Fora Advisors are big fans of travel within the continental US (... from California and the New York islands, to the Redwood Forest and the gulf stream waters – Woody Guthrie was on to something). And this year, Fora Advisors have been busy booking the country’s best hotels, from Cape Cod to Vail, which have become our de facto favorites. Read on for this year’s top-booked domestic hotels. In no particular order…

The crowd-pleasing La Quinta boasts golf courses designed by legends Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman; and for wellness seekers, there’s spa treatments galore and 41 (yes, you read that right) climate-controlled pools. Don’t miss the garden bath ritual that utilizes local agave nectar body therapy.

    The Venetian Resort Las Vegas

Let’s face it: Sin City never gets old (if you do it right, that is). The Venetian is one of our all-time favorites when traveling to Las Vegas: an Italian-themed casino resort, surrounded by lovely – albeit artificial –  canals featuring gondola rides. Here, every room offers a taste of glitz and glam, some suites with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs. The Venetian is beloved by foodies, as well, as it’s home to 20 restaurants led by celebrity chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Emeril Lagasse and Buddy Valastro. Amenities don’t stop there – when not gambling, go ahead and hit the nightclub, wax museum and theater, and scale the 40-ft rock wall.

    Four Seasons Downtown New York

Gracing the streets of downtown, the Four Seasons has established itself as a 21st-century luxury landmark and a favorite for NYC travel. With sleek interior design to match the business vibe of FiDi, the hotel is a master class in minimalism, with pale gray and blue accents. Conveniently located a stone's throw from the World Trade Center, the Four Seasons is all about city views – including of the Hudson – which can’t be beat. Guests shouldn’t miss a treatment at the Four Seasons spa, where signature body scrubs and masks are on offer, plus a unique treatment inspired by Cleopatra's favorite beauty ritual (intrigued? We are too).

    Fora Perks:

Oh, and did we mention it’s less than a 1.5-hour drive from Manhattan?

    The Roxy Hotel

At the crossroads of two of the most iconic neighborhoods in the world – Tribeca and Soho – lies the Roxy hotel. The Roxy’s design transports guests to a 1920s salon, with Art Deco touches, handsome wooden floors and gold accents. The nightlife at this hotel is a selling point: guests enjoy live jazz at the club, the Django, or a screening of the hottest foreign film at the movie theater. Don’t miss cocktails and oysters galore in the effortlessly glamorous lobby.
