The Latest Tech from Fora: Five New Features for Our Booking Platform

Here at Fora, we build technology that allows our advisors to book travel more seamlessly, courtesy of our Advisor Portal. Portal allows our advisors to scale their business in a faster and more efficient way through our integrated booking platform, which houses over 35,000 bookable hotels.

We launched the Booking Platform in August of 2023. Since then, our team has been busy at work building new features, including the integration of member rates for Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Tablet Pro; additional currency displays; AI enablement through Sidekick as well as the onboarding of over 220 travel partners that have joined our Fora Reserve program.

One year and 155,000 booked hotel nights later, we’re thrilled to announce Portal’s five latest features: Maps, Leads, Sort by Price, Favorites & Lists and Associated Travelers. Read on to learn more about each one, and how these additions make advisors' jobs easier, faster and more efficient. 

Maps

You can now visualize hotel locations and see pricing directly on an interactive map, making it easier to plan and select the perfect accommodations for your client’s trip. 

Whether you're looking for hotels in a specific neighborhood (like the Marais) or trying to discover options in a larger region (like the Hamptons) where a list would be harder to navigate, Maps provides a clear way to see all available options at a glance. Zoom in and out or drag the map to explore different areas, and click on hotel markers to view detailed information and rates. 

Leads

Fora’s client lead program is available to Fora X and Fora Pro advisors. We provide these advisors client inquiries obtained from our website, social media accounts and other channels. Our lead program has generated over $6 million in bookings this year. To streamline the process, these lead inquiries now live in Fora’s booking platform. Here, advisors with the requisite experience and knowledge can make a lead request directly. Client information will automatically be loaded into their Portal once they've been assigned the lead. 

Sort by Price

With over 35,000 hotels on our booking platform, finding the right choice that also fits a client’s budget can be challenging. Our Sort by Price feature takes it a step further. Advisors can view hotel options listed from lowest to highest price, and vice versa, allowing them to tailor their search experience to their client’s budget needs.  

Favorites & Lists 

Everyone loves a Spotify playlist. Allow us to introduce the hotel equivalent. Our Favorites feature enables advisors to curate lists of hotel collections based on different criteria. Think: top resorts for the wellness-inclined client, go-to boutique gems with approachable price points in Europe, all-inclusives for families in various Caribbean destinations, the best places to ski around the world…

Associated Travelers

Sometimes travel is better alone…but we often travel with others. Advisors can now keep track of clients traveling with companions, whether that be a best friend or a multi-gen group. Advisors can also create relationships between clients and associated travelers, streamlining all the necessary information needed to book.
