New opening: Rocco Forte House, via Manzoni, Milano
Rocco Forte opened this beautifully restored 19th-century palazzo, on Milan’s famed Via della Spiga. Inside, you’ll find 11 luxury apartments with one to three bedrooms, all of which blend Italian opulence with modern restraint: crown moulding, marble floors, frescoes, towering ceilings.
As a guest, you’ll also have access to the palazzo’s sunny courtyard, city bikes, 24-hour gym and rooftop bar (which is coming next year). It’s hyperpersonal luxury at its finest. A dedicated House Concierge answers to every need, and butlers, private chefs, event planners and more are available upon request.
Fora Perks:
$100 food / beverage credit, breakfast daily, an upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible, a complimentary one-way transfer from Milan Linate Airport or Milan Malpensa Airport and additional exclusive offers.
Auberge Concert Series
As if you needed another excuse to book an Auberge vacation. Their concert series begins in October, where The Inn at Mattei’s Tavern will welcome none other than Kate Hudson, performing songs from her debut album. Throughout the weekend, complement the show with wine and cheese tastings, cocktail masterclasses and a paella dinner.
In November, head to The Lodge at Blue Sky, this time to see LeAnn Rimes. When you’re not enjoying Rimes’ crystal-clear, powerful voice, explore the property’s 3,500 acres of hiking trails, and end your day with a private mountaintop dinner.
In December, Austin’s Commodore Perry Estate will host Maren Morris, who’ll close the series with a bang. The afternoon of the concert, enjoy a tequila tasting with the estate’s head bartender. The next day, have a custom hat designed and made for you during a two-hour private session at Austin’s famed Trovador studio.
Fora Perks:
$100 hotel / resort credit, breakfast daily, an upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.
Michelin-Starred chef pop-up at Round Hill Hotel & Villas
Thanksgiving is just around the corner. This year, consider spending the holiday in Jamaica, where Round Hill awaits. Esteemed Japanese chef Marcelo Fukuya will be helming the kitchen during Thanksgiving weekend.
Choose from several culinary options. On Thanksgiving Day, take a sashimi masterclass. In the evening, savor a gourmet buffet with elevated dishes like roasted turkey with callaloo, or Chef Fukuya’s signature, Ussuzkri Shiromi, delicately sliced white fish with ponzu, spring onion, turnip and chili. Friday brings a seaside buffet of Japanese-Jamaican fusion, while Saturday ends the weekend with craft cocktails followed by a five-course meal.
