There are no entry-level guest rooms at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, with the first tier Deluxe rooms coming in at an impressive 514 square feet. Spa-like, open bathrooms feature Onsen teak soaking tubs, and all rooms have outdoor space to savor the views. For a refreshing treat, guests can opt for swim-up rooms, which provide direct entry to the main pool, or splurge on a private pool with ocean views.

For larger groups, guests can experience one of the 60 Nobu residences, which range from one to four bedrooms and have an unmatched list of amenities. Think panoramic views from long covered terraces, private outdoor pools, fully equipped kitchens and dedicated personal concierge service.

Fora Advisor Rachel Meyers loves the hotel’s “zen vibes and Japanese minimalist design,”  noting that the “food at Nobu restaurant is amazing and overlooks the beach at sunset.”

Even with all these posh amenities, Nobu Los Cabos doesn’t want you to leave your best friend behind. The hotel’s pet program treats your furry friends like royalty, with pet-friendly outdoor dining, cushy pet beds, a bowl and bottled water (note: pet fees do apply).

Fans of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s Japanese menus will not be disappointed. Not only is there an outpost of his iconic restaurant here at Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, but it’s made even better with stunning Pacific views and dreamy outdoor seating. Signature dishes beloved the world over include rock shrimp tempura and miso black cod, while other options include spicy tuna tostadas and scallops with jalapeño salsa.

Paying homage to Cabo San Lucas, Pacific Restaurant is all about Mexican flair. Rustic-chic wood furnishings and a stone terrace give the restaurant a minimalist feel, while the menu touts vibrant flavors and tequila pairings. Try the Mexican take on a classic by ordering confit duck carnitas, or savor roasted octopus flavored with chorizo.

Two more restaurants round out the culinary offerings at this Mexican escape – Ardea Steakhouse and Muna Restaurant. Far from a traditional steakhouse, Ardea’s bold interior has a Japanese feel, while Muna’s light and airy decor match its Mediterranean offerings.

In addition to the variety of menus, Nobu Cabo San Lucas has six bars, including a swim-up bar so you don’t even need to leave the pool to sip on your favorite tropical drink. And if hunger strikes in the middle of the night, 24-hour room service is just a call away.

At Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, you’ll be able to focus on all aspects of wellness, from traditional exercise to more spiritual practices to ethereal spa sessions. In addition to a state-of-the-art fitness center, guests can participate in classes, such as yoga and pilates to improve mindfulness, flexibility and strength, as well as full-body workouts to keep active guests on track.

And after a day of exploration and frolicking in the Pacific, make sure to take time for a soothing treatment at the property’s signature spa. Gorgeous design and a variety of intriguing treatments are infused with Japanese traditions, and the vast facilities include indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy areas, featuring a cabana Jacuzzi, co-ed lounges and an open-air water circuit, plus traditional saunas and steam rooms.

Exploring Mexico: curated on-site and off-site activities

The star of Nobu Hotel Los Cabos is the fantastic coastal location in Mexico. Warm sand beaches combine with four on-property swimming pools, including an adults-only pool and indulgent swim-up cabanas. With such beautiful surroundings, it may be hard to pull yourself away from the resort, but these adventures are worth it.

To see Cabo San Lucas from a different point of view, book a private catamaran and customize your own day at sea, including dinner cruises, snorkeling excursions and even whale watching. Another water option is a larger yacht-style cruise, where you can explore the Sea of Cortez in style, while still getting a taste of adventure with the on-board snorkeling equipment and kayaks.

For land-based activities, ride through desert and mountain terrain with a guided ATV day trip, or spend an afternoon in the charming town of Todos Santos, Mexico, where a bohemian vibe attracts artisan shops and eco-friendly activities include releasing baby sea turtles.

And if you want to stay closer to home, check out pickleball, the kids’ club and the golf courses.

Insider tip: For the ultimate luxury, get in touch with the concierge to plan your unique Mexico experience. Completely customizable, this activity is tailored to your preferences, whether it’s a tequila tasting, a bonfire with fireworks or a private beach dinner.
