6 of our favorite hotels in Las Vegas: from elite casinos to penthouse suites

In no particular order, here are a few of our favorite Las Vegas hotels.

(Or: want to know where to stay in Vegas by “neighborhood” instead? Check out our guide.)

1-2. Wynn and Encore Las Vegas: uber-posh hotels with luxurious casino floors

If you want posh, contemporary accommodations and a ritzy casino floor to boot, you can’t go wrong with Wynn Las Vegas or its sister property Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. Both hotels offer spacious rooms and suites, and quite possibly the fanciest casinos in Vegas (Wynn happens to be one of the homes of the World Poker Tour, too).

Encore has a slightly more exclusive vibe, but both hotels will appeal to discerning tastes. Location-wise, the two are only a block away from the busiest part of the Strip, which is great for travelers who want to be close to the action but not necessarily in it.

While staying at the Wynn be sure to visit Allegro, Casa Playa, and Urth Caffé which are some of the best restaurants on the Strip.

Fora Perks at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas:

    • $100 hotel / resort credit.

    • Breakfast daily.

    • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

    3. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas: one of the most luxurious, smoke- and casino-free hotels in Las Vegas

Just because you’re looking for things to do in Vegas besides gambling (not that there’s anything wrong with testing your luck!), doesn’t mean you have to choose a meh hotel. Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas has the honor of being one of the only luxury hotels on the Strip that’s both non-smoking and lacks a casino floor.

This, of course, makes Four Seasons one of the most family-friendly hotels in Las Vegas. But that doesn’t mean adults won’t enjoy their stay here. Guests of Four Seasons have access to all the amenities of the Mandalay Bay complex, including an aquarium, a massive pool complex and (for those who change their mind about gambling) a casino floor.

    4. The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas: the Las Vegas hotel for partiers

Ultra stylish with an electric vibe, “The Cosmo” is (arguably) the best party hotel in Vegas. This five-star hotel features an alluring design that feels like a departure from the more traditional ambiance of classic Vegas hotels. There’s definitely a youthful energy here, which is only enhanced by the hotel’s snazzy clubs, fashion-forward shopping and trendy fine dining.

Fora Perks at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas:

    • $100 food / beverage credit.

    • Breakfast daily.

    5. Bellagio: an iconic Las Vegas hotel at the heart of the Strip

Fancy staying in a bona fide Las Vegas landmark (and arguably one of the most romantic Vegas hotels for couples)? Then perhaps the elegant charm of Bellagio is the right Las Vegas hotel for you.

Beautiful fountains, grandiose decor and an overall upscale experience have made Bellagio a top choice for Vegas travelers going back decades. Perhaps best of all, the hotel’s location is unbeatable if you’re trying to stay as close to the center of the Strip as possible. In addition to all of Bellagio’s five-star amenities, you’ll have convenient access to just about everything Vegas offers.

    Fora Perks at Bellagio:

    • $100 food / beverage credit.

    • Breakfast daily.

    • Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

    6. The Palazzo at The Venetian: bachelor- / bachelorette-party-friendly suites with elite access to the Strip

If you’re traveling with a large group, or simply love uber-spacious suites, The Palazzo at The Venetian is an excellent choice.

First, The Palazzo is centrally located so the nearby options for literally anything — shopping, dining, entertainment…you get it — are awesome, making this five-star tower one of the best Vegas hotels for bachelorette parties

As for the suites themselves, expect lavish amenities, superb service and stellar views of the city’s skyline.
