The 20-room Tuscan gem is a paragon of traditional Italian craftsmanship, imbuing its elegant homey atmosphere with artisanal details.

The Place of Wonders, the hotel’s foundation, furthers its dedication to artistry. As part of its effort to preserve and celebrate Italian craft, the foundation funds scholarships and training. It’s no secret this DC icon has a rather colorful past. But the hotel’s history only adds to its allure. It’s located right on the Potomac, which you can view from the Top of the Gate, the rooftop bar. Plus, the hotel’s within walking distance of Georgetown and many of the city’s top landmarks.
