Fora co-founders Jake Peters, Henley Vazquez and Evan Frank at Fora HQ in NYC
The Fora-verse is still buzzing with our recognition as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2023. Announced earlier this year, this annual compilation “provides a firsthand look at the inspiring and innovative efforts of companies across all sectors of the economy.” Needless to say, we’re thrilled to be recognized by Fast Company, and to be in the company of boundary-pushing companies in fields ranging from biotech to advertising.
This week, our collaboration with Fast Company continued as we became a Fast Company Fast Track partner. As part of Fast Company’s Annual Innovation Festival, Fast Tracks are Fast Company’s "unique take on a field trip." These are live events that take people behind the scenes of distinguished companies, to see how their ideas come to life.

At Fora, we chose to host our session at the Beekman Hotel, a favorite NYC hideaway and a popular stomping ground of HQ staff. We got together on a rainy day in a cozy corner of the Beekman for a panel with Fora’s co-founders Henley, Evan & Jake. The session was moderated by Evita Robinson, the founder of Nomadness, a 34,000-member community of BIPOC travelers, and covered everything from Fora’s past, present & future to experiential travel and tech.
The founders recapped their origin stories (London Friendsgivings, Tribeca coffee shops) and discussed misconceptions about travel advisors today (“they do exist!”). Henley broke down the importance of inclusivity in travel (hint: good for the world, also good for business) and Jake discussed the unique intersection of community and tech. Evan even found a way to weave in the Roman Empire (echoing a very timely social media meme).
