A&K’s luxury Expedition Cruises feel more like private charters. Occupancy is capped at 199 guests, and an exceptional staff comprise world-class historians, photographers, scientists, authors and other notable experts. As such, the entire (all-inclusive, no less) experience feels far more immersive and intimate. If you’re after a last-minute adventure, this is it: Choose from cruises to the Arctic or  South Pacific , and snag $1,500 air credit per person.

There are three luxe vessels in Atlas Ocean Voyages’ fleet, and all of them are yachts. Themed expeditions include voyages that focus on polar exploration, gastronomy or cultural immersion. You can’t go wrong with either, but whatever you choose, Atlas’ all-inclusive offerings are actually inclusive, and then some. Open bars, your cabin minibar, gourmet dining (including alcohol), high tea, gratuities, binoculars, cultural experiences and more are all part of the up-front price. In other words, you can finally relax and focus on enjoying your trip.

Sometimes we travel with others. Other times, we want to go solo — and there’s something special about doing so. AmaWaterways gets it. Their intimate river cruises attract intellectually curious travelers from all over the world. Tour the Seine, the Danube, the Douro, the Nile, the Chobe…Wherever you go, expect active shore excursions (hikes, bike rides, et. al.), locally sourced dining, pickleball courts, complimentary group fitness classes, spacious suites and so much more.

Contrary to its name, Norwegian Cruise Line sails just about everywhere. It’s the ideal line for anyone after a traditional cruise experience, complete with massive ships, Broadway-like entertainment and an impressive variety of dining. NCL is especially great for families. Kids will love the sprawling pools, aqua parks and activities like mini golf and laser tag. Parents will appreciate adults-only spaces and NCL’s range of youth clubs to keep kids occupied for extended stretches of time.

$500 onboard credit per person on Crystal

Crystal takes luxury cruising up a notch. With only two ships, Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, the entire experience feels exclusive and thoughtful. Butler service is always included, for example, and the food is treated like the main event, rather than an afterthought. (Famed chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa is behind the ships’ Umi Uma, which serves masterful Japanese-Peruvian cuisine.) Use your extra $500 on flights, for airport transfers or however you’d like while on board (spa treatments, shore excursions, on-board shopping…).
