9 of the best all-inclusive resorts in Cabo San Lucas (or nearby)

To be considered an all-inclusive, the resort must include food and beverages (sometimes including alcoholic drinks) in the room rate. Some resorts also include certain activities, tips and other costs in the total.

Read on for a breakdown of nine Cabo San Lucas all-inclusive resorts. (Or if you prefer a traditional resort, check out our guide to Cabo hotels.)

    1. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos

Loungers and tables sit directly in a sapphire-blue pool with ocean views

Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos is located about 20 minutes from Cabo in the historic resort city of San José del Cabo. The area is slightly more relaxed than Cabo San Lucas proper, but just as scenic and fun.

“I love the Hyatt brand all-inclusive hotels and have been to many in Mexico,” Fora Advisor Nancy McLaughlin said. “Hyatt Ziva is buzzing with energy, making it a great pick for families who love non-stop activities and diverse dining.”

One of two family-friendly all-inclusive resorts featured in this breakdown, Hyatt Los Cabos features activities, shows and amenities for all ages, almost all of which are  included in the up-front fare. In particular, the on-site KidZ Club lets parents drop off their little ones to enjoy games, crafts and other age-appropriate activities. Alternatively, there’s a waterpark with five waterslides. The only exceptions to the included activities are the resort’s two-story spa and rentable cabanas, which surround the massive pool area.

Perhaps more than any other all-inclusive resort in or near Cabo, Hyatt Los Cabos distances itself from the tried-and-true upscale tropical aesthetic. Instead, expect a contemporary look that feels more youthful and vibrant.

Check out our article on Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos for the full lowdown. (Or reach out to a Fora Advisor for a tailored report.)

Fora Perks at Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos:

    • $100 hotel / resort credit, a welcome amenity, upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

    2. Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos

There are a lot of incredible options for luxury all-inclusive resorts in Cabo San Lucas, but Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos definitely stands out. Every suite includes butler service, which sets the tone for the white-glove experience you can expect at this adults-only property.

The attention to detail here is meticulous, and everything from the suites to the courtyard pool area speaks to the resort’s luxe aesthetic. There’s also a focus on wellness, which is manifested in the resort’s elevated, health-centric menus, guided fitness offerings and top-tier spa (book restaurant and spa reservations in advance, which a Fora Advisor can help you with)

Notably, the all-inclusive package Le Blanc Los Cabos includes meals and top-shelf alcohol at all of the resort’s fine eateries.

“If you are a foodie looking for an all-inclusive option, this is by far the best!” asserted Fora Advisor Ronit Margolis. “The Habibi Lebanese restaurant is absolute perfection, food-wise, and the Ocean restaurant has a stunning ambiance.”

Fora Perks at Le Blanc Resort & Spa Los Cabos:

    • Complimentary air & concierge services.

    3. Grand Velas Los Cabos

A large bed with pastel bedding leads to a comfortable seating area that, in turn, leads to a glass-walled balcony with ocean views

Image courtesy of Grand Velas Los Cabos

Grand Velas is one of the most luxurious all-inclusive properties in Mexico, let alone Cabo San Lucas. The resort exclusively offers suites, all of which are spacious. Every suite on the property boasts ocean views and is outfitted with a mix of contemporary and elegant Mexican décor.

You can indulge in a diverse culinary experience that highlights local and international menus. Plus, there’s a world-class spa with treatments inspired by Native American healing rituals, along with multiple infinity pools overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Grand Velas also offers an array of activities, from water sports to cultural tours.

Fora Perks at Grand Velas Los Cabos:

    • $100 hotel / resort credit, $50 daily spa credit, a complimentary hydrotherapy ceremony, upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.

    4. Dreams Los Cabos

Dreams is another beachfront all-inclusive resort near Cabo San Lucas. The setting is still upscale, but the vibe is slightly more casual than some of our previous options. Moreover, the resort hosts a bevy of kid-friendly amenities like game rooms, a mini water park, playgrounds and a kids’ club. Together, these features make Dreams one of the more family-friendly resorts in Cabo.

“Dreams Los Cabos offers a more laid-back, elegant setting for families wanting a mix of relaxation and fun,” noted Fora Advisor Nancy McLaughlin.

The resort has a world-class spa, several pools and plenty of activities for all ages. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby championship courses, while the resort’s prime location allows access to local attractions in Cabo proper and historic San José del Cabo.

    5. Hotel Riu Palace Cabo

Image courtesy of Hotel Riu Palace Cabo

Hotel Riu Palace is a massive property on Médano Beach, just outside of Downtown Cabo San Lucas. It’s one of the largest all-inclusive resorts in Los Cabos. This is a place that will be enjoyed by travelers seeking a lively atmosphere.

The resort boasts a wide selection of room types — one of the most diverse, in fact — all with modern amenities and either garden or ocean views. Higher-end units also have private balconies.

The hotel has multiple pools, a spa and the usual array of activities like water sports. But Riu Palace also hosts a solid lineup of shows and entertainment, making this property a great place to stay for nightlife seekers. And if you want to explore, the resort is near Cabo San Lucas’s lively downtown and iconic attractions like El Arco.

    6. Sandos Finisterra

Large room with chic decor, a private ocean-view balcony and deep soaking tub

Sandos Finisterra is a unique choice among all-inclusive resorts in Cabo San Lucas. The resort is perched on a cliffside, offering panoramic views of the very tip of Baja Mexico, including Tortuga Beach and the Cabo San Lucas marina. This prime location also places the resort within Downtown Cabo, making it a great choice for travelers interested in exploring the city (or anyone wanting a short ride from the airport, as many of the best resorts are as much as 45 minutes to an hour away).

That said, Sandos Finisterra guests can still enjoy immediate beach access — or enjoy any of the resort's many pools, dance classes, tastings and more. And despite Sandos Finisterra’s proximity to downtown Cabo’s bumping nightlife, the resort is actually one of the more family-friendly options. There’s a kids’ club, family-oriented pool and more.

    7. Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach

Elegant table settings beneath chandeliers and warm lighting. Mexican art dots the walls

Set on a private coastal bluff, Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach offers some of Cabo’s best views of the Pacific. Classic Mediterranean architecture inspires much of the resort’s design, offering a unique vibe and style — unlike most Cabo San Lucas all-inclusive resorts, which tend to emphasize Caribbean-esque, tropical themes.

Pueblo Bonito’s culinary options are a highlight, too. In addition to a wide assortment of fine restaurants, there’s a trendy food hall with a mix of full-service dining and on-the-go options. In both regards, options are plentiful; foodies may find Pueblo Bonito to be at the top of their list.

Beyond the gastronomy, you can relax at Pueblo Bonito’s award-winning Armonia Spa, take a dip in one of the resort’s many pools or enjoy activities such as golf, tennis and yoga. The resort's secluded location ensures a quiet atmosphere while still offering access to livelier downtown Cabo.

    8. Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos

Image courtesy of Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos

Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos is a sprawling resort occupying a somewhat secluded section of Viudas Beach, just outside Cabo San Lucas. While there are other resorts nearby, the local geography offers plenty of separation.

While the family-friendly resort caters to many travelers, golf enthusiasts may particularly enjoy this choice. There’s a dedicated package that includes up to three rounds on one of Cabo’s three pro-designed courses. If you prefer to spend your time elsewhere, the golf credit can be exchanged for other amenities at the resort, including spa services or one or more bottles of wine (depending on the value).

Grand Fiesta American also offers the widest variety of rooms, ranging from cozy guest rooms fit for couples to lavish suites with private courtyards, hot tubs and exclusive amenities. There are options for all budgets here.

    9. Marquis Los Cabos

A chic space with elegant statues and unique, contemporary seating arrangements all underneath a well-lit semi-dome with ocean views

Image courtesy of Marquis Los Cabos

Marquis Los Cabos is one of the few all-inclusive resorts in the greater Cabo San Lucas area that doesn’t have an adjacent resort in its vicinity. This, coupled with its adults-only policy, lends the resort a quieter, more exclusive vibe that bodes well for relaxation-seekers.

The property also hosts one of the larger spas in the area, at 13,000 square feet. Highlights include private massage cabins, a spa lounge for groups and a beauty salon.

As this is a suites-only resort, even the smallest units at Marquis Los Cabos offer 650 square feet of space and private balconies. Meanwhile, the largest accommodations host private pools, direct beach access or panoramic views of the ocean, among other luxe amenities.

Fora Perks at Marquis Los Cabos:

    • VIP status, extended check-in/out whenever available.

Cabo San Lucas all-inclusive resort FAQs

Here are a few answers to common questions about all-inclusive resorts in Cabo San Lucas.

What does all-inclusive mean in Cabo San Lucas? Is alcohol ever included?

A few loungers on a private terrace, with a small set of stairs leading to a plunge pool, all just feet a away from the ocean

Image courtesy of Marquis Los Cabos

While there may be some variation between options in Cabo, all-inclusive resorts here still follow the same premise as all-inclusive resorts you’ll find in other destinations. Meals, drinks (sometimes including alcohol) and, in some cases, experiences, are included in the total price.

Which has better all-inclusive resorts, Cabo San Lucas or Cancún? Which is more expensive?

Generally, Cabo is more upscale, with a quieter vibe, while Cancún has a greater number of family-friendly options. Cancún’s beaches are also entirely swimmable — only a select few beaches in Cabo are. That said, both destinations have great all-inclusive resorts catering to many interests. As for which destination is more expensive, you can generally expect Cancún to have more approachable rates overall.

A Fora Advisor can give you the lowdown on both destinations and help you decide which best fits your preferences.

Is it better to stay at an all-inclusive or traditional resort in Cabo San Lucas?

This comes down to your preference. If you’re planning on sticking to your resort, an all-inclusive like Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos makes sense. But if you only want a homebase, a normal resort or hotel might suit your needs better.

How much does it usually cost to stay at an all-inclusive in Cabo?

Cabo San Lucas all-inclusive resorts cost anywhere from $200 to $500 per night and up. Higher-end resorts will be more expensive. It’s also important to know that some resorts charge per person.

For an exact quote, reach out to a Fora Advisor. They’ll be able to break down multiple options for you.

Do any Cabo all-inclusive resorts offer airport transfers?

Yes. Some all-inclusive resorts in Cabo provide airport transfers either as a standard inclusion or as a perk offered through a preferred partner program.

When’s the best time to book a Cabo all-inclusive?

Cabo is a very popular destination. For the best deal, it’s generally wise to book well in advance. However, if you book through a Fora Advisor, they’ll do their best to book an amazing trip regardless of your timeline.

Are Cabo San Lucas all-inclusive resorts open all year?

Most resorts and hotels in Cabo San Lucas are open all year.
