Things to do in port
If you are looking for something a little different and with no kids, Virgin Voyages just might be for you. This cruise line is very forward-thinking regarding sustainability, design, on-board activities, entertainment and dining selections. They do things just a bit differently with included WiFi, gratuities, fitness classes, lots of dining choices, basic drinks (including sodas) & the "Bar Tab." You'll find there won't be much else to pay for. No nickel & diming you for every little thing. Alcohol & excursion packages are extra. Such a refreshing change.
Places to eat & drink in port
With so many incredible dining options, there’s something for every palate! Indulge in gourmet creations at The Test Kitchen, where innovation meets amazing flavors, or savor authentic Mexican cuisine at Pink Agave. For plant-based inspiration (with options for meat lovers, too), Razzle Dazzle is a must-try. Craving Italian? Stop by Extra Virgin for a true taste of Italy. For steakhouse aficionados, The Wake offers a premier dining experience. Be sure to reserve your spots early to secure these culinary delights!
If reservations fill up, don’t worry — The Galley is full of fabulous choices. Build your perfect salad at The Daily Mix, grab a noodle bowl or enjoy breakfast all day at the classic diner. Tucked away in a cozy corner, The Pizza Place crafts pizzas just the way you like them, including gluten-free options!
Rest assured, the attentive staff takes food allergies seriously, going above and beyond to accommodate your needs. And here’s the best part: no buffets on board! Every dish is made to order, ensuring it’s always hot, fresh and tailored just for you. Bon appétit!
Need to know
Virgin Voyages spares no expense on quality for everything they do. You are sure to have a top-notch experience. Be sure to pack a red outfit for Scarlet Night, where there will be many festivities throughout the night and you can dance the night away.
You will also need some fun PJ's for pajama night! One thing I loved about this cruise is that there are always spaces you can find to spend some quiet time. Loved the cabins with the signature red handmade hammock, perfect for an afternoon siesta. The boat was far from crowded (except for the pool area, which is always hopping).
Spend time with friends & family enjoying a game night. They have a HUGE selection of board games, puzzles & more for your use. Lastly, a tablet device, where you can control your TV and even has multiple choices for mood lighting controls in each cabin!
