Day 1: Getting to Mexico

Arrive in San Diego, CA or Tijuana. This is an easy drive for people in Southern California. I would recommend parking the car in San Diego and crossing the border by walking (traffic could get harsh, especially when leaving Mexico and entering the US). You can rent a car in Tijuana but would recommend a private transportation

Stop at Los Portales or Encanto Restaurant for Mexican cuisine with the most amazing view of the Pacific while also enjoying live music.

Check-in at Hotel.

Recommendations: El Cielo Winery Resort, Encuentro Guadalupe, Ojo Azul Resort, Cuatro Cuartos, Hotel Bruma.

Head to El Cielo Winery and experience their wine tasting with chocolate at their exclusive Wine Club Lounge inside the wine cellar.

Head to Bloodlust for dinner. This trendy restaurant shaped like a garlic blends avant-garde culinary techniques with the region's rich gastronomic heritage. Nestled amid vineyards, it tantalizes taste buds with inventive dishes showcasing locally sourced ingredients, complemented by an extensive wine selection. Renowned for its bold flavors and unique ambiance.

Go back to your hotel and rest.

Day 2: Wine tasting and lunch

For the best breakfast in Valle de Guadalupe, head to La Cocina de Doña Esthela. Go early to avoid lines as this place does not take reservations and it gets packed.

Wine Tasting: A few places to do more wine tasting include Bruma Winery, Casa Frida, Vena Cava, Norte 24, Don Tomas, Decantos Vinicola. For this itinerary, I would recommend going to Decantos Vinicola first and later Bruma Winery.

After your wine tour in Bruma, head to your lunch reservation at Fauna to experience one of the best restaurants in Latin America. Don’t miss their octopus, broccolini or their ceviche.

Head to Tahona and experience their speakeasy with a mezcal tasting.

For the best sunsets in all of Valle de Guadalupe, make a reservation at Bar Bura. Experience a sunset overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Next, head to Casa Frida if you don’t want the night to end and dance to music.

Day 3: Visit more wineries before heading home

Have breakfast in your hotel. Visit a few more wineries (La Justina, Finca Altozano). For lunch, try Oja, a new restaurant combining mexican, mediterranean and French flavors. Don’t forget to say hi to their zebras, Justina and Faustina. Head back to Tijuana.
