Curator’s statement
London, England, is a huge city with so much to do. Almost too much to do. Sometimes we need to take a step back and slow down. While London is such an amazing city packed with history, museums, palaces, royalty, shopping and all kinds of tourist attractions, we are going to take a moment to appreciate lazier days. Reconnect with those close to you, or spend some time alone. Those are important days too.

Things to do in London, UK
Focus on Wellness
In a busy city, there are still places to get away from the action, where you can re-center yourself. If a sound bath is what you need to relax, you’re in luck! The Wellness Clinic at Harrods, Crystal Sound Lounge and The Wellness Foundry are all options for you.
If you need a full spa day with a massage, facial and a place to relax, you have options too.
The clean lines at The Retreat at the Londoner in Leicester Square. Retreat will put a busy mind at ease immediately. Beyond the pool, massage rooms and nail salon, the gym is just perfect.
The Spa at Four Seasons Park Lane, enjoy panoramic views of Hyde Park and West London. Skincare is the focus here. Book facials or peels and walk out looking renewed and refreshed.
Wander down the wooden halls of the exclusive Spa at the Bulgari Hotel in Knightsbridge. Book a personal training appointment before you get into the vitality pool, covered in gold leaf. Book a hydromassage and spend time in the steam room before you go. They even have micro-needling, LED treatment, radio frequency and cryotherapy.
ESPA Life at Corinthia is spread over four floors, and may be the largest of the bunch. This spa has a gym with personal training and a spa that focuses on overall wellness. There is a steam room, next to an ice basin. Swim in the pool, book the mindful massage and finish with polishing your nails, since you’ll be ready for a night out after all of the relaxation.
Places to eat & drink in London, UK
Afternoon *Champagne* Tea
So, Brits may not have a lengthy daily afternoon tea, just like they don’t eat fish n’ chips everyday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t when you're on a trip! It’s a special occasion. You won’t need to look far for an afternoon tea when you’re in London, and best of all, it may include bubbles.
For a traditional, almost royal, afternoon tea in Belgravia, go to the Goring Hotel. If the weather permits, go out back and enjoy your tea with croquet outdoors.
Don’t spend too much time choosing your tea from the Brown’s Hotel library. They have a large selection, but choose one and enjoy the experience. If you have any questions, just ask the friendly staff.
Yes, you can eat the food they serve at the Rosewood afternoon tea. You may forget, since it’s more like art.
For an iconic and chic British afternoon tea, visit Harrods. Dress nicely and enjoy dainty bites. Go beyond the tea, or even champagne and try tea-based cocktails.
