Curator’s statement
London is such an allergy-friendly city! With my husband having a nut allergy and myself being gluten free, I am happy to report that finding places we were comfortable eating felt like a breeze. All we had to do was a little bit of research. Please note that I am not celiac, so it's important to make sure that these restaurants offer accommodations before dining! Overall, though, I was comfortable as someone who avoids gluten. London has so many delicious food options that will satisfy any gluten-free cravings.

Places to eat & drink in London
Daphne’s: If you’re looking for a nice and romantic dinner spot, definitely get a reservation here (pro tip: ask for the conservatory room). I had a white truffle risotto that was so delicious and well worth the price tag.
Lahpet: This was probably the best meal I had throughout the entire trip! This Burmese restaurant has a gluten-free menu full of unique flavors. I started with the tea leaf salad, then for my main course I ordered the coconut noodles with chicken (sub the noodles for gf noodles). It tasted like a literal hug in a bowl.
Sushi Samba Heron Tower: Their sushi is delicious and their truffle rice is a must! The views from the 39th-floor restaurant are unbeatable. Try to get a table by the window and definitely make a reservation! They had a dedicated gluten-free menu and were super conscious about our allergies.
Fortnum & Mason Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon: They have a completely gluten-free tea menu that tastes just like a regular tea menu! I would definitely recommend their scones, which were delicious. I also asked for more of the cucumber tea sandwiches - so good.
The Ivy: I had a delicious butternut squash soup poured over creme fraiche with a side of fries and Princess Diana’s favorite drink, a peach bellini.
La Mia Mamma: This restaurant is worth the hype! I went for my birthday and had a delicious Puglian gluten-free pasta. Nonna even came out to wish me a happy birthday, complete with a sparkler and gluten-free panna cotta!
Seven Dials Market: This funky food hall is well worth the stop for a quick bite. Their sushi station had a number of gluten-free options as well as delicious gluten-free dosas on the ground floor.
Libby’s Gluten Free Bakery: I had my first croissant in months here and it was so delicious! It’s worth the visit, along with exploring Notting Hill neighborhoods and Portobello Road Market.
The Borough Market: There is an overwhelming amount of food options here, and I loved the Seafood Paella and famous chocolate covered strawberries. Both were so worth the wait! I’d go on a weekday morning to avoid the most crowded times.
Breakfast at Tiffany's: This cafe in Harrod's has the cutest Tiffany vibes and delicious gluten-free options! I had gluten-free madelines to start my meal and eggs florentine for my main course.
