Things to do in Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls

Iguazu Falls is nature's awe-inspiring masterpiece, a UNESCO-listed wonder where the Iguazu River cascades dramatically between Argentina and Brazil in a breathtaking display of water and mist.

Buenos Aires, the dynamic heart of Argentina, has left an indelible mark on me. The intertwining of European sophistication and Latin American flair creates an irresistible energy that pulses through the city's streets. From the lively tango rhythms of San Telmo to the modern allure of Puerto Madero's waterfront, every neighborhood holds a unique charm. The ornate beauty of Teatro Colón and the luxury shopping on Avenida Alvear reflect the city's diverse character. As I wandered through La Boca's colorful alleys and stood in awe at Plaza de Mayo, I felt the pulse of Buenos Aires' history and vibrancy all around me. I spent a few days in Buenos Aires exploring the city, then flew to Iguazu Falls for two nights, returning to Buenos Aires before embarking on a cruise to Uruguay and Brazil. Here are a few suggestions for enjoying Buenos Aires.

Iguazu

Iguazu Falls, a natural wonder nestled amid the lush rainforests of Argentina, is a sight to behold. The sheer power and majesty of the cascading waterfalls create an awe-inspiring spectacle that leaves a lasting impression. To reach Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires, you can take a short flight from one of the city's airports, such as Jorge Newbery Airport (AEP) or Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), to Cataratas del Iguazú International Airport (IGR) located near the falls. The flight takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes, making it a convenient way to transition from the vibrant urban atmosphere of Buenos Aires to the untamed beauty of Iguazu Falls. Once you arrive, prepare to be immersed in the natural splendor of the falls and the surrounding rainforest, making your journey a seamless blend of urban exploration and breathtaking nature.

Nestled at the gateway to the breathtaking Iguazu Falls, the town of Iguazu offers a charming blend of natural beauty and local hospitality. With its laid-back atmosphere, the town provides a welcoming base for exploring the nearby wonders.
