Curator’s statement
Madeira, Portugal is a magical place. Dubbed as "the island of eternal spring", the weather is fantastic year-round, which offers limitless opportunities to enjoy the towns, landscapes, food and water. With topography similar to Hawai’i and mountainous Caribbean islands, Madeira also has a unique old European feel. Seafood and local wine is abundant, which is a nice way to end a perfect day filled with exploring the many unique sights of the island.

Eat & drink
Ristorante Villa Cipriani: Part of the Belmond Hotel, this restaurant is a fantastic location for delicious Italian food, with one of the most stunning views I have seen at a restaurant. Tip: make sure to sit on the patio.
William Restaurant: The Michelin-starred restaurant located in the Belmond Hotel. Consistently top rated, the views are incredible.
Afternoon tea: Even if you are not staying at the Belmond, make sure to reserve afternoon tea. Take in the views sitting on the hotel's storied patio, and enjoy delicious tea and bites. You don't want to miss it!
