Curator’s statement
The Oregon Coast is such a unique experience and a place where the magic never seems to fade no matter how many times you return. Even if you only traveled the 101 and never left your car, you'll still find a variety of stunning landscapes and wildlife, from dramatic rocky cliffs and sprawling sandy beaches to enchanting waterfalls and lush forests. I have traveled the entire coast and have hand-picked my favorite hikes, restaurants, experiences and roadside attractions. While the entire Oregon coast stretches for 323 miles, this chosen section between Tillamook and Florence offers one of the most captivating and diverse experiences you can find in this region. It is also just an hour and a half from both Portland and Eugene, making it the perfect spot for a getaway no matter where you're starting from.
