Curator’s statement
March Madness, one of the biggest spectator events in sports. What better place to watch this popular college basketball tournament than in Las Vegas. With a high capacity for hotel rooms and entertainment venues, Vegas has the perfect set up to be able to host large groups watching this event. It is reported that one-third of the US public has an interest in March college basketball. The sportsbooks have great facilities for accepting sports wagers for March Madness. Online wagering is also possible, if you don’t want to move from your bar seat.

Things to do in Las Vegas

March Madness best places to watch
Reservations are highly recommended as most sportsbooks and sports bars will be operating at full capacity during game-watching times. Especially during Thursday and Friday, the first two action-packed days of the tournament. Reservations are normally priced to include food and beverages. Check the terms and details before booking. Must be over 21 to gain entry to sportsbooks and most bars.
Wynn Sportsbook: Located inside the Wynn casino. 1,600 sq-foot giant wraparound screen to watch all the action.
Charlie’s Sports Bar: Located next to the Wynn Sportsbook area inside the Wynn casino. Viewing packages include limitless bar food and drinks bundles also available.
Cosmopolitan Sportsbook: Located within the modern Cosmopolitan casino. Latest TVs and excellent service. The Cosmopolitan also hosts a Hoops and Hops event, with large screens with luxury seating inside a ballroom to watch all the action.
Caesars Palace Sportsbook: Located inside the Caesars Palace casino. Betting stations and great seating available with bar service. Large screens showing multiple games at once. Bar seats can also see all the action but are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tom’s Watch Bar: My personal favorite. The servers are excellent and there is always a great atmosphere. They are great at accommodating your viewing requests and will switch TV channels to the games you would like to see. Reservations for tables are essential. We managed to grab a couple of bar seats, but these were mostly full on the first couple days of the tournament.
Cabo Wabo Cantina: March Mayhem. Located just off the strip in the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. Boasting many giant screens to watch the games. Starting at breakfast and all the way to dinner, delicious Mexican food and great drink options.
Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas: Tournament of Madness. Indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoy your pre-reserved food and beverage credit. Seating for groups in a relaxed atmosphere. Betting kiosks are available.

Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips: For a taste of a popular British cuisine. Authentic and tasty fish and chips. Located on the LINQ promenade.
Brewdog Las Vegas: A popular brewery serving casual food options on the rooftop. Vegetarian and vegan options, including cauliflower tacos and plant-based burgers.
Eataly: Located in the corner of Park MGM Casino. Casual food-court style with many options for Italian sandwiches, pizzas and desserts. Also a very popular bakery for breakfast pastries.
