Curator’s statement
Having lived in Tokyo myself, Japan’s sakura season holds a special place in my heart. It’s a magical time when nature bursts back to life, reminding me of the beauty in both the grand and the small moments. The blooming cherry blossoms symbolize a celebration of this beauty, and there’s something profoundly moving about how people come together to share in that fleeting wonder. For me, it’s not just a season — it’s a cherished connection to Japan and its natural rhythms.
