Cambodia was a must-visit destination on my bucket list. I delved into the history and markets of Phnom Penh, explored Siem Reap and the incredible Angkor Wat temple complex, experienced an unforgettable sunrise over Angkor Wat that will forever live in my memory, and then headed to Sihanoukville to relax beachside. Let's explore Cambodia.

Phnom Penh

The bustling capital of Cambodia is a city of contrasts where tradition intertwines with modernity. Along the Mekong River's banks, French colonial architecture mingles with vibrant markets and serene temples, painting a vivid picture of the nation's history and its evolving present.

National Museum: Immerse yourself in Khmer artistry at the National Museum, which houses a captivating collection of sculptures, ceramics and relics spanning centuries. The museum's elegant red building and tranquil courtyards provide a serene atmosphere to explore Cambodia's artistic heritage.

Choeung Ek Genocidal Center: Pay your respects at the Choeung Ek Killing Fields, a somber but crucial site that commemorates the victims of the Khmer Rouge era. The memorial stupa stands as a solemn reminder of the past, surrounded by a peaceful landscape.
