Curator’s statement
New Orleans is a fantastic bachelorette destination due to its vibrant nightlife, especially within the French Quarter, offering an array of bars, clubs and live music venues. The city's unique blend of Creole and Cajun cuisine will have you crawling back for more. Rich in culture and history, New Orleans offers unmatched Bach party activities like ghost tours for the spooky bride and the world's largest WWII museum for the history bride. And wait, did you know you can throw a parade for the bride? That's right. Only in New Orleans.

Day 1: Beignets and Bourbon Street
If you arrive in New Orleans midday, head to your hotel to drop off your bags. Chances are, one or two of the girlies will need to stay back to decorate. While that is going on, take the bride out to Café Du Monde for a beignet. This spot is a classic stop and is only the tip of the food iceberg in Nola. Make a dinner reservation at Jack Rose for an iconic dinner and then head to Bourbon Street for some debauchery.
Day 2: Rest and recovery
Since we went out last night, let's have a bit of a recovery day! We're going to start with brunch at Bearcat CBD. Try the friend chicken smothered in crab dip gravy. If the gang just wants pastries, go to Bearcat Baked, around the corner from the original.
To continue with the recovery day, we are going to sweat out all the toxins in a yoga class. I suggest hiring Bride Vibe Yoga. They have instructors in a bunch of major cities all over the states and will tailor the class to the bride and your needs.
Finishing off the recovery, we're headed to the Virgin Hotel pool. This trendy rooftop pool serves great cocktails and you can reserve a daybed. If you aren't staying at the Virgin, you can reserve your daybed through Resort Pass (or your trusted travel advisor).
Now for dinner. We're going a little off the beaten path to Bacchanal. It is one of the coolest wine bars you will ever go to. You will walk into the main house, choose your wines and cheeses and go find a spot upstairs or on their sprawling patio. Here you're going to enjoy live music, great wine and an impressive charcuterie board that they put together for you with your selected cheeses. They have a full bar if wine isn't your thing and you order all of your other food from a QR code, which makes the experience seamless.
Day 3: Shopping and sweets
Today is our last full day in New Orleans, so let's make the most of it! If we're thinking pastries again, let's check out Mammoth Espresso. For a full brunch, we'll head to Ruby Slipper. Depending on your group size, check the waitlist for Ruby Slipper to make sure you can get in when you want (they do not offer reservations).
We love a good shopping day, but let's go to the boutique shops that we don't have at home. For that, we're headed down Magazine Street. You might be tempted to stop at the World War II museum along with way (I wouldn't blame you), but if you keep going west on Magazine, you're going to come across some of the cutest (and quirkiest) shops. Maybe you'll even be tempted to get a tattoo (I recommend Idle Hands) to commemorate the weekend.
In between shopping, we are likely to be famished. You'll find Gris Gris which serves classic New Orleans fare (dare I say more crab dip-infused dishes?). Or if we just need something sweet, walk over to Parish Parlor for some ice cream — this is New Orleans. It's going to be hot and you're going to want something to cool you off that doesn't have alcohol.
If you have a party bride, head back to Bourbon for the rowdy crowds. If you want a change of pace, head to Royal Street (one street off from Bourbon). This is when I'd go find some live music and just hang out with the girls until our final dinner.
Speaking of dinner. Here are a few key recommendations: Effervescence for something chic or Carousel Bar, which is quite literally on a carousel.
Day 4: Brunch and farewell
Sad to say, this is the day we all go home, but not without getting breakfast first! If you have the time, stop by Willa Jean for an exquisite southern-style brunch. Then wave goodbye to the gals. Until next time, New Orleans!
Need to know
As previously stated, if you plan ahead, you can have a parade for your bride, complete with a police escort and a band! Reach out to your travel advisor to help you organize this unique experience.
Additionally, we understand that not all bachelorette parties want to be separated in hotel rooms. We have several partners and properties for the whole group to stay together in — just reach out!
