Curator’s statement
I am obsessed with NYC. Its a foodie's paradise, with restaurants representing cuisines from all over the world. As a frequent visitor to this vibrant city, I've had the pleasure of sampling many of its culinary delights. From the thin-crust pies of John's Pizzeria in Greenwich Village to the mouthwatering pastrami sandwiches at Katz's Delicatessen on the Lower East Side, New York offers something to satisfy every palate. Of course, no trip to NYC is complete without stopping by Koreatown for authentic Korean barbecue. Restaurants like Kang Ho Dong Baekjeong sizzle with the sounds and smells of meat cooking over hot coals at your table. The city also offers excellent ramen shops like Ippudo NY and Totto Ramen, where you can slurp up piping hot noodles in rich, savory broths. Whether you're craving a bagel from an old-school Jewish deli, tacos from a tiny hole-in-the-wall joint, or a Michelin-starred tasting menu, New York City has it all. As a passionate travel writer, I can't get enough of exploring this city's dynamic food scene. With new restaurants constantly opening up, there's always another tantalizing taste of New York waiting to be discovered.
