Day 1: Arrival

Be sure to prioritize booking all dinner reservations in advance. I highly recommend securing a reservation for dinner around 8 pm, as you won't want to miss the must-try Aperitivo at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Day 2: Panini and pastry

Start your day with brunch at All'Antico Vinaio for their popular paninis. Be sure to arrive early as the line gets long later in the day.

For desserts, head to Panzerotti Luini, an 11-minute walk from All'Antico Vinaio. Afterwards, you can cafe-hop Galleria Chocolat Milano, Prada Cafe and the famous Milan Starbucks Cafe. Then take an 11-minute walk to Brera District from Prada.

For sunset, enjoy an aperitivo at Deus Ex Machina at Naviglio Grande.

For dinner: Osteria Conchetta

Day 3: Museum and delicacies

Museum Day: Discover the history and art at Milan's famous museums. To save time and ensure entry, it's best to book advance tickets. Start your day with a tasty breakfast at Pasticceria Cucchi for some delicious bread & pastries. It's just a 16-minute walk to the Cenacolo Museum from there.

Must-See district: Ticinese / San Vittore – One of Milan's hippest neighborhoods (20 min walk from center or Take the Tram)

Dinner:

Day 4: Day trip to Lake Como

Embark on a day trip to the stunning Lake Como, just an hour away by direct train transit. Immerse yourself in breathtaking scenery, charming towns and the tranquil waters of this iconic Italian destination.

Day 5: Sights and eats

Travel Tip: Start your morning a little later to let yourself rest and relax after several days of exploring and doing things.

Must-see:

  • Duomo+Museo e Pinacoteca Ambrosian: This famous cathedral and art museum is a must-visit because it has beautiful buildings and a lot of artwork.

  • Castello Sforzesco: Enjoy free entrance on specific days (please check the website for details) to explore this historic castle and its museums.

Must Eats:

  • Maio Restaurant at Rinascente Milano Piazza Duomo: It has a great view of the Duomo, so book a table for a special meal.

  • Pasticceria Martesana: Indulge in the delicious fruitcake at this famous pastry shop.

  • Pizza Am: Visit this pizza place at Corso di Porta Romana, 83, Milan, MI, Italy to savor authentic Italian pizzas.

  • Pizzium: Sample the delectable pizzas at this establishment.

Squeeze In:

  • Consider visiting the Quadrilatero Della moda in Milan, the famous Fashion District, where you can indulge in some shopping.
