Curator’s statement
Palm Beach is a quieter alternative to Miami, forever frequented by, primarily, wealthy vacationers. The area's defined by old money whether it's polo in Wellington, PGA golf, or billionaire-owned residences. Even on a lesser budget, there's plenty the area has to offer for everyone.

Where to stay in Palm Beach, Florida
Things to do in Palm Beach, Florida
Shopping
Shop until you drop on Worth Avenue, home to stores including Chanel, Ferragamo, and St. John (one of my personal favorites!). Any Lilly Pulitzer fan will love visiting the bright boutique where the brand was born. Other excellent places to shop include The Royal Poinciana Plaza, The Gardens Mall, and Tanger Outlets Palm Beach for great deals.
Beaches
What's a trip to Palm Beach without the beach? John D. MacArthur Beach State Park, Juno Beach Park, and Ocean Reef Park are all close-by options. For a taste of something different, head north to Jupiter, or south to areas like Delray Beach or Lake Worth for more options.
Nature
Bikers will enjoy the 5.5 mile Lake Trail, especially when the weather is cooler. If you have kids with you going through their animal phase, take them to Palm Beach Zoo, Lion Country Safari, or Loggerhead Marine Life Center.
Beauty
Palm Beach has no shortage of amazing spas, many of them at the most popular hotels around. Favorites include The Spa At Eau Palm Beach, The Spa At The Breakers, and, further south in Boca Raton, Spa Palmera, inspired by the design of Spain's Alhambra. You won't regret the drive!
Other
If you're looking to get out on the water, rent some paddleboards, go for a swim at the beach, or rent your own boat. There's plenty to choose from, anything from fishing boats to glamorous yachts. Things to do on solid ground include strolling through Norman Museum Sculpture Garden, looking through Antique Row, and appreciating the peace and quiet in Mounts Botanical Garden.
Day trips
You can extend the trip by making your next stop Miami, or go even further and head into the Florida Keys. Going north, you can stop at beautiful beaches along the coast or, of course, visit the theme park capital of the world: Orlando.
