Day 1: Arrive Mid-Afternoon & Check Into Your Hotel

Arrive mid-afternoon and check into your hotel in the charming Condesa, Roma Norte or Polanco neighborhoods. Spend time wandering the tree-filled streets and charming nooks surrounding your hotel. Pop into different stores, or indulge in an early evening glass of natural wine from Huge el Wine Bar.
Opt for a celebratory ‘welcome to CDMX’ dinner at Pujol – known for consistently placing in the top ten of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants rankings. Or, head to Molino el Pujol for a more casual dining experience curated by the same renowned chef – Enrique Olvera.
Day 2: Have a Leisurely Start

The first morning of vacation should always be a leisurely one. Wake up late with the locals and enjoy a slow morning before heading out to Panaderia Rosetta for a breakfast and coffee you’ll dream of for days to come.
Take time to explore the different streets of Roma Norte – bop into vintage shops and record stores before slowly making your way to Parque México and Parque España. Take in the rich CDMX ‘park culture’ and hang out beneath the city park’s thick tree canopy until your stomach begins to rumble for a late lunch. Opt for street tacos from Tacos El Azul (the carnitas are a must-have) followed by a sweet treat from Churrería El Moro – a ready-made churro and a Mexican hot chocolate. Head back to the hotel for a siesta post-meal!.
As the sun sets, head to The Rooftop at CondesDF up above the city streets among the jacaranda trees to sip on cocktails and enjoy views up on the modern terrace. Then for dinner, enjoy a meal at Anonimo for amazing natural wines, pizzas and pastas in La Condesa – featuring fresh ingredients and monthly menu changes. Enjoy a meal over fun vibes, facilitated by a mix of reggaetón and hip hop.
Day 3: Head Out to See La Casa Azul & Museo Frida Kahlo

After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, head out to see La Casa Azul & Museo Frida Kahlo dedicated to the life and work of the famous Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo. See several of her art pieces and spend time in the home where she grew up and lived with her husband Diego Rivera for a number of years. A ticket to this museum also gives you entry to Diego Rivera's Museo Anahuacalli, just a 15-minute drive away. For lunch, snag an outdoor table at Los Danzantes in Coyoacán for a menu of Mexican fusion food and enjoy people watching on the lively street.
After lunch, head to El Centro Histórico to enjoy historic landmarks dating from as far back as the Aztec era and museums like the Palacio de Bellas Artes, filled with Diego Rivera murals. Meander the streets and down Avenida Francisco Madero to soak in the city’s magnetic energy. If you’re looking for local handmade souvenirs, go to Mercado de Artesanias La Ciudadela for stunning ceramics, silver jewelry, wool blankets and art made from all over Mexico. If it’s a Sunday, don’t miss Mercado Lagunilla – where hundreds of antique dealers and casual vendors set up on the streets surrounding the market selling treasures like costume jewelry, retro sunglasses, old-school 50's kitchen goods, records and more.
A visit to CDMX isn’t complete without a visit to Contramar for dinner – consistently picked as one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. Here, enjoy a carajillo alongside fresh, delicious seafood dishes.
Day 4: Drive South to Xochimilco

After breakfast, head out on a 45-minute drive south from the city to see Xochimilco – the last remnants of a vast water transport system built by the Aztecs that connected the city to the rest of the settlements throughout Mexico. Take a ride through on colorful gondola-like boats while floating food vendors, artisans and mariachi bands pass by.
After the morning excursion, opt for a quick lunch in Polanco perched on a cobblestone street corner before heading to Bosque de Chapultepec to see the Castillo de Chapultepec (the only castle in the Americas ever occupied by European royalty), Museo Nacional de Antropología and Museo Tamayo Arte Contemporáneo. Rent a bike to cover ground in this massive urban forest and take in the lively city scenes or head to Reforma avenue and bike around the angel of independence. You can rent EcoBici via the website and use them throughout the city.
End an action-packed day and beautiful trip with dinner at Meroma for contemporary eats and divine cocktails to make for a delicious end to your trip. Then, head to Ololo – a chic 70’s inspired speakeasy spinning vinyls and serving up tasty cocktails.
Day 5: Enjoy a Final Breakfast at Your Hotel

Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel (thanks to Fora’s perks and breakfast often included) and say ‘hasta luego’ to an amazing couple of days in Ciudad de México!
