Day 1: Experience the Christmas Market Magic
As you step off the train in Munich, a wave of festive cheer washes over you. The city is adorned with twinkling lights, and the air is filled with the aroma of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. Head straight to Marienplatz, the heart of the city, where a towering Christmas tree dominates the square. Wander through the bustling Christmas market, sipping on warm gluhwein and indulging in traditional Bavarian treats like Lebkuchen (gingerbread) and Stollen (fruit bread).

Day 2: Celebrate a royal Christmas at Neuschwanstein Castle
Today, embark on a journey to the fairytale-like Neuschwanstein Castle. Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the most famous castles in the world for a reason. Its stunning architecture, rich history and breathtaking location make it a must-see for any visitor to Bavaria.

Day 3: Enjoy Bavarian holiday traditions & stroll through Hofgarten

Afterward, stroll through the Hofgarten, a beautiful park transformed into a winter wonderland during the holiday season. Hofgarten offers a peaceful escape from the city center. It's a great place to admire the beautiful Christmas decorations and lights, take a leisurely stroll and relax in a serene setting.
Day 4: Take a day trip to Salzburg
Just a short 90-minute train ride away is the beautiful town of Salzburg, Austria, the perfect choice for a day trip from Munich.
Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, offers a delightful blend of history, culture and natural beauty.
