Day 1: Visit local beaches and Mandrakia
The island contains the most jaw-dropping beaches, most famously Sarakiniko, aka the Moon Beach, on the north side of the island. The island is small enough to drive anywhere quickly, but it's best to get a rental car or motor bike (you'll need to get an international driver's permit and reserve ahead of time if you don't want a manual car). Since this is a hotspot, the earlier you get to the beach, the better. Bring a towel, because you're going to want to jump into the most inviting, crystal-clear water.
From there, take a quick drive to the traditional fishing village of Mandrakia. Explore the quaint village before having the most amazing lunch at Medusa. Relax at another beach on the north side of the island before heading back to get ready for dinner. Explore the main city of Adamas in the evening and have dinner on the water at Nostos. Be sure to pick up a bottle of wine from the market and enjoy a glass on your patio back at the hotel (Hotel Milos Resort) before calling it a night.
Day 2: Sailing cruise
Take a sailing cruise around the island. There are numerous sailing tours to choose from, all offering slightly different routes / time frames. Sailing Milos is an especially good choice.
All the tours leave from the main port at Adamas and make their way to Kleftiko, with a handful of other stops along the way. You'll be able to swim in the bright blue water and enjoy traditional Greek feasts and bottomless Greek wine while on board, all while learning the island's history and culture.
Once you get back in the evening, you'll be tired, so grab dinner at one of the cafés near the port. Flisvos has some great traditional Greek kebabs and delicious Tzatziki. Grab some homemade baklava, or pastries for breakfast at the Artemis bakery.
Day 3: Beach hopping
If you're feeling adventurous, head to Tsigrado in the morning. You can only get there by ladder, so come prepared. It's small and perfect for a morning swim. After that, head to Paliochori beach and grab a chair at the Sirocco Beach Club & Restaurant. You get the chairs for the day and can order drinks and amazing meals, some of which are cooked underground in the volcanic sand. The sandy beaches are calm, so it's a great place to leisurely enjoy the water.
After a relaxing and luxurious beach day, head up to the highest point on the island, the capital city of Plaka, for a breathtaking sunset view. You can walk the old streets, stop at some local boutiques and grab a drink at Verina before watching the sunset near the church. Grab dinner up there, or head back to Adamas for dinner at O Petrinos or Aragosta.
