Day 1: San Telmo and Plaza Dorrego

Day 3: Beautiful Gardens of Buenos Aires
Morning
Explore the beautiful gardens of Buenos Aires, such as the Rosedal (Rose Garden) in Palermo. Visit the serene Japanese Garden (Jardín Japonés) to admire its tranquil ponds and bonsai trees.
Afternoon
Enjoy lunch at L'Orangerie in Palacio Alvear.
Evening

Day 4: Scenic Boat Ride
Morning
Take a scenic boat ride along the Rio de la Plata to the charming town of Tigre. Explore the canals and islands of the Paraná Delta, known as the "Venice of the South." While not everyone's favorite, this relaxing day on a boat offers quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Afternoon
Visit the Museum of Fine Arts (Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes) in Buenos Aires. Take a guided bike tour through the city's green spaces and bike-friendly neighborhoods.
Option to explore the vibrant street art scene in neighborhoods like Palermo and Villa Crespo, and enjoy more shopping time.
Evening
Attend a fun night at one of the fabulous rooftop bars in Buenos Aires for a memorable evening. Trade Skybar, Florida 165, Selina or Alvear are among the most popular.
Day 5: Estancia La Bamba de Areco
Spend a night or two at Estancia La Bamba de Areco, a luxurious countryside retreat.
Enjoy a range of activities at the estancia, such as horseback riding, exploring the beautiful grounds or simply relaxing by the pool. Indulge in a traditional Argentine asado (barbecue) lunch.
Unwind with a glass of local wine while watching the sunset over the pampas. Enjoy a gourmet dinner at the Estancia.

This originally intended to be a 15-day trip itinerary in Argentina, but it was too much, so I split the guide into three parts. Stay tuned for Part 2: Bariloche and Part 3: Mendoza.

In Argentina, particularly in cities like Buenos Aires, fashion and personal appearance are highly regarded. Locals tend to dress elegantly and put effort into their outfits, reflecting the cosmopolitan vibe of the city.
At the same time, keep your valuables with you at all times, like any metropolitan city, it's not uncommon to get picked pocketed or cellular phones and handbags to get snatched from tables. Safe travels!
