Need to know
With just a little planning, dining out in Tokyo with kids can be a fun and memorable experience! Many fine dining spots, particularly those offering kaiseki or sushi, might feel formal. Asking in advance for kid-friendly seating, private rooms or simplified menu items can make all the difference. Early reservations are highly recommended, as family-friendly seating fills up fast.
Also, consider visiting for lunch when these restaurants are often more relaxed and typically offer smaller portions, which can be more manageable with younger ones.
If you’re looking for a family-friendly Tokyo experience planned just for you, drop me a note — I’d love to help!
