This itinerary is extra special to me as it was designed for our honeymoon. Each stop has its own charm, and the stunning views, delicious food and rich culture truly made our trip unforgettable. From the vibrant towns along the Amalfi Coast to the breathtaking landscapes of Capri, every moment was a dream come true. We aimed to blend relaxation with adventure, making the most of our time together.

Day 1: Travel to the coastal town of Positano
Arrive in Naples & take a car service to Positano: After landing in Naples, enjoy a phenomenal car service that offers not only comfort but also stunning views of the countryside. Stop at Pompeii for a captivating tour of this ancient city, where well-preserved ruins tell the story of a bygone era.
Check into Villa Fortuna: Upon arrival in Positano, check into your first hotel at the top of the city. While the views are breathtaking, prepare for the many stairs that lead to your accommodations.
Dinner at Rada Rooftop: In the evening, indulge in a preselected courses menu at Rada Rooftop, a Forbes-recognized restaurant known for its exceptional cuisine and stunning views of the coast. Savor delicious cocktails while enjoying a romantic dinner that perfectly sets the tone for your honeymoon.
Day 2: Get immersed in Italian cuisine at La Tagliata
Taxi boat to Arienzo Beach Club: Start your day with a scenic taxi boat ride to Arienzo Beach Club, located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Positano, away from the crowds and noise of the center. Here, you’re invited to celebrate the true Positano beach lifestyle. The beach club offers a professional beach waiter service, a great selection of famous and signature cocktails, and delicious food paired with nice music. For the adventurous, there’s even an opportunity for cliff jumping!
Dinner at La Tagliata: In the evening, head to La Tagliata for dinner. La Tagliata features three terraces with stunning views and organic vegetable gardens. Guests are welcomed with a drink and hors d'oeuvres on the first terrace, Punta Belvedere, before dining outdoors on the lively L’Ulivella and Bougainville terraces. For an authentic experience, join their cooking class, where you’ll enjoy singing, dancing and collecting fresh produce from the gardens. Founded by Mamma Dora and Papà Luigi, this family-run restaurant offers both a delightful meal and a taste of Italian culture.
Day 3: Take a boat to beautiful Sorrento
Take a boat to Sorrento: After checking out of your hotel, travel to Sorrento, where you’ll check into the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria. This beautiful hotel offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Naples and a prime location for exploring the town.
Explore Sorrento: Spend the afternoon exploring Sorrento’s charming streets, perhaps visiting Marina Grande for a scenic stroll along the waterfront. Treat yourself to some gelato as you take in the picturesque scenery.
Day 4: Get lost in Sorrento's vibrant atmosphere
Free day in Sorrento: Enjoy a free day to immerse yourself in Sorrento’s vibrant atmosphere. Consider taking a cooking class or a hike along the Path of the Gods for stunning views of the Amalfi Coast.
Dinner reservations: For dinner, make a reservation at Il Buco, a popular restaurant that specializes in innovative Italian cuisine served in a cozy atmosphere.
Day 5: Travel by ferry to the island of Capri
Check out & ferry to Capri: Check out of your hotel and take a ferry to Capri. Upon arrival, take the funicular up to Hotel Canasta, which offers stunning views and easy access to the island's attractions.
Dinner at Paolino Capri: In the evening, enjoy a reservation at Paolino Capri, a charming restaurant set among lemon trees. The ambiance is enchanting, and the menu features local specialties, making for a delightful dining experience.
Day 6: Dine on fresh seafood
Lunch at La Fontelina: Spend the day at La Fontelina, a renowned beach club known for its beautiful setting and excellent seafood. Relax by the sea and savor a delicious lunch while soaking up the sun.
Evening entertainment: Explore the vibrant nightlife of Capri by visiting Taverna Anema e Core, a lively nightclub known for its live music and energetic atmosphere.
Day 7: Take a private boat out on the water
Private tour of Capri: Take a private boat out on a Capri Summer Tour for a full day of exploration. Stop for lunch at La Conca del Sogno, a beautiful restaurant known for its relaxed vibe and fresh seafood.
Day 8: Visit Ischia for beach time & Mediterranean fare
Ferry to Ischia: Check out of Hotel Canasta and take the ferry to Ischia. After arriving, check into the Miramare E Castello Hotel, which boasts stunning views and easy beach access.
Dinner plans: For dinner, consider dining at Il Mosaico, where you can indulge in exquisite Mediterranean dishes in a welcoming atmosphere.
Day 9: Relax with a spa day & exquisite seafood
Day at Poseidon Spa: Spend your day at the Poseidon Spa, enjoying the thermal springs and wellness treatments. For lunch, savor healthy dishes while taking in the serene surroundings.
Evening dinner: Consider dining at Ristorante da Maria for a taste of local seafood dishes, providing a wonderful ending to your relaxing day.
Day 10: Journey back to the mainland & arrive in Rome
Ferry to Beverello & train to Rome: Check out and take the ferry to Beverello, then board a train to Rome. After checking into Baglioni Hotel Regina, enjoy dinner at Ristorante Il Brillo Parlante, known for its delicious pasta, fresh seafood and an extensive wine list.
Day 11: Wander the cobblestone streets of Rome
Explore Trastevere: On our final full day, we moved to Tree Charme, located in the lively Trastevere district. This charming area is known for its cobblestone streets, vibrant nightlife and delicious dining options. One hidden gem nearby is Da Enzo al 29, a popular trattoria that serves authentic Roman cuisine. Known for its cozy atmosphere and classic dishes like cacio e pepe and amatriciana, it’s a favorite among locals and offers a true taste of the region.
Evening exploration: After dinner, we spent the evening in the square, soaking in the lively atmosphere and listening to live performances. With a glass of wine in hand and fresh bread to share, it was the perfect way to end our day, immersed in the enchanting vibe of Trastevere.
Day 12: Bid " arrivederci" to the magic of Italy
Departure: Check out of your hotel and take a car to the airport for your afternoon flight, filled with beautiful memories from your Italian adventure.
