Curator’s statement
Kaua'i, the "Garden Isle" is special to me because it is a haven for nature lovers. The variety in geology and landscape in each part of the island from Na Pali to Waimea is so diverse and dramatic. It's pristine beaches and environment offers a more serene and less developed community than the other Hawaiian Islands. It is a relaxed, laid-back destination with live music offered at many venues, great restaurants and most importantly: life centered around the natural beauty of the island.

Things to do in Kaua'i
Day Trips:
Make sure to explore Waimea Canyon and Haena State Park on your Kauai adventure!
Places to eat & drink in Kaua'i
Nightlife in the South Shore (Lihue and Poipu):
Rob’s Good Times Grill - Kauai Sports Bar & Grill - Kauai's Best Food & Fun at Rob's Good Times Grill Lihue: Known for their live music, sport viewing, dancing and karaoke, Rob’s was recommended to me by a local friend living on the island and it offers a great time for all!
Beach House Restaurant, Koloa, Hawaii: A lovely destination for Sunset and relaxation into the evening, their mission is old-fashion Hawaiian Hospitality. The cocktails are outstanding, you cannot miss the Mai Tai here! Enjoy hanging out in the bar area or outside on the lawn with a sought-after lounge set up.
Stevenson's Library - Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa
An upscale bar in the Grand Hyatt that specializes in Sushi and Cocktails. Come relax in this tropical bar in an amazing resort property.
Nightlife in the North Shore (Hanalei and Princeville):
Tahiti Nui: Family-run and a friendly atmosphere with an impressive cocktail menu. You can find me here almost every night of my stay in Hanalei. The casual vibe is hard to beat, and there is live music daily! Plus, they also offer their own small Luau dinner event which is outstanding!
Kalypso Island Bar & Grill: Not open as late as Tahiti Nui but a great place to enjoy live music into the evening in Hanalei.
Tiki Iniki: With vintage decor and exotica vibes, these owners know how to throw a party and provide a stellar ambiance for their guests.
