  1. Rent a Boat on Lake Placid with ADK — it's not so easy to access this exclusive lake! Water skiing, wakeboarding and tubing come with instruction and loads of laughs for all ages.

  2. White Water Rafting on the Hudson River has some high-class rapids.

  3. No trip is complete without a visit to the Olympic sites. All four sites have something unique to offer. Mt. Van Hoevenberg offers a cliffside coaster and a bobsled experience.

  5. The Miracle on Ice Museum and Rink at the Olympic Center. Don't forget to visit the locker room where the players convened before games.

  6. Olympic Jumping Complex — It's not uncommon to see athletes practicing by jumping into the pool.

  7. Mount Jo was the perfect hike! Insider tip: There are two ways — take the shorter/steeper way to the top and the longer, less steep path home.
