Touch down in Oahu and pick up your rental car. Head over to Waikiki where you will check into your hotel of choice. Get settled, and kick off your Hawai'ian adventure with a relaxed dinner and drinks at Dukes.

Day 2: Hike and Beach Fun

An aerial view of the island with mountains and a city in the distance

If jet lag has you up early, don't worry. Head over to Diamond Head for a morning hike before the crowds roll in. After the hike, stop by Kona Brewing for a drink and lunch with stunning views. Spend the afternoon on the beach, soaking up the sun and kick it at your resort for drinks and a laid-back dinner.

Day 3: Fort DeRussy Beach Park and Shopping

Birds-eye view of a city area on the coast

If you're feeling the surf vibes, check out Aloha Beach Services for family surfing lessons – don't forget to ask for Lumpy. Alternatively, enjoy a leisurely day at Fort DeRussy Beach Park. Head back to your resort for a casual lunch, followed by some time on the beach or a shopping spree. For dinner, Lulus is the perfect choice.

Day 4: Road to Pearl Harbor

Time to hit the road to Pearl Harbor. Grab breakfast at Koa Pancake House on your way. Spend the morning exploring Pearl Harbor before checking in to a hotel in the Ko Olina area. This area is perfect for families because all of the hotels have a protected lagoon connected by a mile and half of seaside path. Wind down your day with a quick walk to Monkeypod.

Day 5: Resort Day

A beach during daytime

Early risers can enjoy breakfast with a character or two at Makahik at Disney's Aulani Resort. Lounge on the beach in the cove, grab a relaxed lunch at your resort and either drop the kids at your resorts Kidscamp to have a date night or enjoy Mina's Fish House at the Four Seasons as a family.

Day 6: Drive to Kuala Ranch

Green Mountains on Oahu

Take a drive to Kuala Ranch which is stunning and is the site of so many famous movies, including Jurassic Park. They have so many excursions for all ages and interest. Horse back riding, ATV rides, UTV raptor tours, catamaran tours and movie site tours, just to name a few. Head back to your resort and finish the trip with a Luau experience, Kawaa.

Day 7: Farewell Oahu

Return your rental car at Honolulu airport, reminiscing about the fantastic time you've had. Safe travels!
