Unlock perks by contacting Jen to book your trip.

Day 1: Arrive in Marrakech

Arrive in Marrakech and enjoy a hot shower and a welcome dinner at your hotel.

Day 2: Tour of Marrakech

Walking tour of Marrakech with a local guide, visit the Media for shopping and tour the Madrasa in the morning. In the afternoon, visit Majorelle Gardens and the Yves St. Laurent Museum. You will get your bearings on the city and enjoy feasting your eyes on local treasures.

Day 3: Cooking class

Do a cooking class at Amal Cooking School. A non-profit organization empowering women to enter into the hospitality, food and beverage industry and helping women to rewrite their stories. The class lasts three hours and you will be cooking alongside the women who are in school there! Afterwards, spend more time shopping in the Medina. Dinner at El Jardin in the Medina.

Day 4: Road trip day

Begin your road trip day through the beautiful Atlas Mountains with stops at Argon Oil cooperative, Ait Benhadou — the famous film kasbah and a rug cooperative. Lunch at Iseldie, a mountainside inn. Stay at the simple, but lovely and authentic Riad Dar Chamaa.

Day 5: Valley of Dades

Valley of Dades with various stops along the way, including a remote stop with a man who throws pottery. Early check-in to Eden Boutique Hotel for lunch, dinner and relaxing. You can also do a quick excursion up the road to see the valley from above the windy road that makes its way down into the valley.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert

Road trip continues to the Merzouga Desert with more various stops along the way. Including a fossil factory with unique decor pieces and another stop at a kasbah. Stay at Riad Madu with incredible views of the desert.

Day 7: Off-road experience

Off-road experience in 4×4 vehicles where you will pack a small overnight bag for a stay in a Sahara Dunes Camp. Stop along the way to visit and have tea with the nomads and learn about their remote life. Enjoy Berber pizza for lunch along the way. End the day with a bucket-list sunset camel ride in the dunes along with dune surfing. After dinner in the camp, the staff will build a fire and play music with dancing and singing before flopping into bed and covering up with lots of warm blankets.

Day 8: Drive to Fes

Long drive up to Fes. Stretch your legs in the monkey forest. Stay at Riad Dar Bensouda, deep in the medina. Highly recommend this riad for authenticity, service, food and ambiance.

Day 9: Fes walking tour

Walking tour throughout Fes, including shopping in the medina, awesome views of Fes, a stop in a leather tannery and more. End your day at a hammam and watch all of the desert grime get scrubbed off.

Day 10: Last day

Depart for home!
