Curator’s statement
Welcome to Rosemary Beach, a luxurious coastal haven along Florida's scenic Highway 30A where European charm meets laid-back beach vibes. This community is primarily known for its stunning vacation rentals. From cozy beach cottages perfect for intimate gatherings to grand coastal homes that can accommodate larger celebrations. While The Pearl serves as the area's boutique luxury hotel option, most visitors opt for the space and flexibility of private homes. I’m happy to help find the perfect rental to suit your group's needs. Rosemary Beach delivers an elevated experience that feels worlds away from the ordinary. This itinerary is geared towards a girl's long weekend in a rental home, but it can easily be adapted for a family gathering or a couple getaway.

Day 1: Arrival & relaxation
While waiting for your afternoon check-in, treat yourself to a signature massage or facial at The Pearl Spa. This is where coastal-inspired treatments incorporate local elements and premium products.
Grab a snack at La Crema, offering delectable tapas and chocolates in a cozy atmosphere — their steak tostadas and Malaga shrimp are must-tries!
Let 30apron’s Traci Veno remove all the dinner stress with her customizable catering services. From gourmet charcuterie boards to full Gulf-to-table dinners, she'll ensure your first night is memorable and effortless.
Day 2: Wellness & coastal dining
Start your day with a private beachfront yoga session — the sound of the waves provides nature's perfect backdrop. Book with MYST and ask for Olivia!
Vacayzen delivers charming beach cruisers right to your door — perfect for exploring the iconic 30A architecture and hidden gems along the bike paths.
Ardaro Art store in Watersound showcases whimsical works from local artists. Pieces range from small coastal-inspired paintings to large-scale installations - perfect for finding a memorable souvenir.
On your way back, stop in Alys Beach. You'll immediately notice the striking white-washed Mediterranean architecture that makes this community feel more like a Grecian village than a Florida beach town. The stark white buildings, sculptural walls and serene courtyards create a dramatic backdrop that's become one of the most photographed spots along 30A. Stop by Fontville Press for fresh, creative fare in an Instagram-worthy setting. Their kale Caesar with local Gulf shrimp and house-made flatbreads are fantastic.
For dinner, head to Pescado, offering rooftop dining with panoramic Gulf views and sophisticated coastal cuisine. Their fresh-caught seafood and craft cocktails make it one of 30A's most sought-after dinner reservations. Note - Reservations are typically needed and can be booked up to 60 days in advance.
Day 3: Shop & sip
Start your day at Amavida Coffee Roasters — a local institution serving ethically sourced, expertly roasted beans in a charming setting. Try their famous cold brew or lavender latte.
After properly caffeinating, head over to Rosemary’s best boutiques for some shopping
Disco: Contemporary fashion with a beach-chic twist.
Luminary Lifestyle: Curated resort wear and accessories.
Hissyfits Boutique: Playful, feminine pieces perfect for vacation.
Willow: Elevated basics and luxe beach essentials.
After your morning shopping, take a scenic 10-minute stroll back to Alys Beach and stop at NEAT for some of 30A's most innovative cocktails in a sleek, sophisticated setting. Try their smoked old-fashioned or seasonal craft cocktails.
For dinner, choose between The Citzen's refined seafood dishes in an elegant setting or George’s casual-cool atmosphere with serious culinary credentials.
Day 4: Beach getaway finale
Savor every moment of your last day in paradise with a mix of local flavor and beachside enchantment. Let the combination of casual brunch vibes and a dreamy beach bonfire create the perfect farewell to your Rosemary Beach escape.
Visit Cowgirl Kitchen for a legendary brunch. Their signature boot drinks (yes, served in actual boots!) and coastal comfort food like Gulf shrimp and grits are a must!
Close your visit with La Dolce Vita's bonfires. They handle everything from permits to setup, creating an Instagram-worthy evening complete with chairs, lighting and s'mores. And avoid cooking on your last night by having 30Apron's bonfire boxes delivered for easy clean-up.

Travel Logistics
Airport Access: Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) is your closest option, just 30 minutes away. Alternatively, Destin Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS) is available about 65 minutes from Rosemary Beach, often offering competitive fares.
Beach Access: All beaches are private with controlled access. You'll need an RFID tag or code provided by your rental property for beach entry and exit. These pristine, private beaches ensure a more peaceful experience than you'll find at many Florida beach destinations.
For a long weekend getaway, you can skip the rental car entirely. Rosemary Beach is intentionally designed to be extremely walkable, with charming cobblestone streets and pedestrian pathways connecting all the main attractions. Most visitors find that between walking and biking, they can easily access everything they need within the community and even venture to neighboring areas along 30A.
Pro Tips:
Restaurant reservations are essential, especially for groups of six or more. Book at least two months ahead for peak seasons.
Services like spa treatments, bonfires and private chefs often book up 4–6 weeks in advance.
Consider using Instacart for grocery delivery — they're familiar with all local rental properties.
While the area is walkable, bikes make it easy to explore neighboring communities like Alys Beach and Seacrest.
La Dolce Vita beach setup service includes premium chairs and umbrellas positioned in prime beach locations. They'll have your spot ready before you even wake up tomorrow.
