Day 1: Exploring Antibes

Begin your journey in Antibes, soaking in the old-world charm of its cobblestone streets and the vibrant atmosphere of its Provençal market. Taste the local olives, cheeses, anchovies and the Socca, a regional flatbread made of chickpea flour. Explore the Picasso Museum housed in the historic Château Grimaldi. Relax on the sandy beaches or wander through the bustling marina lined with luxury yachts. There you will spot a huge sculpture, The Nomade, by Jaume Plensa. Sunset is the best time of day for a picture.

Day 2: Exploring Saint-Paul-de Vence

Venture to the medieval hilltop village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence, known for its captivating art galleries and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Explore the quaint streets lined with artisan boutiques before visiting the Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs, a beautiful chapel adorned with vibrant miniature mosaics. Venture into the small cemetery and try to spot Chagall's tomb, a local curiosity. For those who are not afraid of heights, climb the ramparts and see the village from a different point of view.

Day 3: Perfume Making in Grasse

Begin your day with a visit to the stunning Villa Kerylos in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, a masterpiece of Greek-inspired architecture nestled along the azure coastline. Explore the intricately decorated interiors and lush gardens, offering a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of ancient Greece.

After your visit, enjoy a scenic drive along the coast to discover a charming spot for lunch. Stop at a seaside restaurant in Villefranche-sur-Mer or Beaulieu-sur-Mer, where you can savor fresh seafood dishes while admiring panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Following lunch, continue your journey to the enchanting Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, where you can immerse yourself in the luxurious surroundings and wander through the meticulously manicured gardens inspired by different regions of the world. Take your time to explore the nine themed gardens, each offering its own unique beauty and tranquility.

Or simply find a beach to soak up the sun.

Day 6: Walking the Sentier du Littoral

Ocean with bright blue water and boats.

To conclude your stay at Antibes, you MUST walk the Sentier du Littoral. This is one of the most breathtaking coastal walks I have done. The reward at the end is a crystal clear swim in a refreshing ocean!
