Things to do in Toledo, Spain
Wander along the cobblestone streets of Toledo and take in all of the many things to do:
Toledo Cathedral: Visiting the Cathedral is a must-do to experience the beauty and grandeur of Toledo's most prominent site. Bonus points if you catch the Lumina show in the evenings to see the cathedral illuminated in all of its glory!
Cheese tasting at Museo Del Queso Manchego Toledo: Visit the quaint museum and learn all about Manchego cheese. Stay for the cheese tasting to experience it for yourself!
Medina Mudejar Baths: Visit an authentic Arabic bath and immerse yourself in an intricate part of Toledo's history.
Fly Toledo: Ok, hear me out, experiencing the walled city of Toledo but zip-lining! It is totally fun and a hit with the teens and all ages really! If you're looking for a bit of a thrill among the chill of Toledo, check it out!
Places to eat & drink in Toledo, Spain
Toledo has no lack of delicious food, but my favorites are the padron peppers and cheese croquettes! Dining times may be a bit later than you are used to, but don't forget that happy hour bar snacks are a thing!
Restaurante Alfileritos 24: Upscale Spanish dining, yes please!
Entre Dos Fuegos: An intimate dining experience where guests are encouraged to interact with the chef and fully immerse themselves in authentic Spanish cuisine.
La Azotea de Carlos Rooftop Bar: Experience the landscape of Toledo from an inviting rooftop vista while enjoying delicious drinks, snacks and tapas.
Sweets at local convents: Take a walk along Main Street in Toledo and you'll find no lack of sweet treats, but if you want the authentic experience, visit one of the many convents and support the nuns and satisfy your sweet tooth. Head here for the best: Convento de San Clemente (Calle San Clemente), Convento de Jesus y Maria (Avenida de Portugal), Convento de Santo Domingo el Antiguo (Plaza Santo Domingo el Antiguo).
Taberna Artesanal la Tintilla: Visit this hidden gem for an amazing low-key experience! Favorites include manchego cheese, cold white wine and croquettes.
