Need to know
Las Terrenas offers a different experience than much of the Dominican Republic with small boutique hotels rather than large resorts, small local restaurants instead of all-inclusive dining and beaches that seem deserted.
There is a unique blend of cultures, with influences from the Dominican Republic, France and Italy. This cultural diversity is reflected in the local cuisine, art and music. You can savor a variety of delicious dishes in the numerous beachfront restaurants and experience the lively atmosphere during traditional festivals and events.
