Things to do in Whistler
Alpine Hiking
There are so many incredible hikes! Please inquire directly for more details and many more options...
Hike from the top of Whistler around the peak on the High Note Trail. Hike is approximately 3-4 hours. From here sit outside at The Umbrella Bar at the top of Whistler for the ultimate Ceasar, take in the breathtaking views, and ride the gondola down.
Hike from the Upper Village to the top of Blackcomb! Reward yourself with a beverage and a snack at Rendevous Lodge, and save your knees and ride the gondola down.
Helicopter Tours
Blackcomb Helicopters are tailored for everyone! The best way to see the majestic mountains are from a helicopter. These tours range from sightseeing to Heli-picnics, Heli-golf, Heli-paddle boarding, and remote alpine hiking. Private, exclusive and INCREDIBLE!
Play Golf!
Whistler is home to some of the best golf courses. Whistler Golf Club, Fairmont Chateau Golf Course, Nick North Golf Course. Of course, they all have fabulous clubhouses to sit and enjoy a meal and a bevy.
Canoe or paddle down the River of Golden Dreams
This is a super fun summer activity to do with friends. You can go through a company like Canadian Wilderness or buy inflatable rafts and just float down with friends.
Bunjee Jump
With Whistler Bungee, jump 160ft over the breathtaking Cheakamus River! Not for everyone, but you can also jump tandem with a buddy!
Places to eat & drink in Whistler
In the summer, the spot to be is on one of the many patios in Whistler!
GLC Bar & Grill (Garibaldi Lift Company): Sit right at the base of Whistler and get a front row seat of the incredible mountain bikers coming down. Casual food, known for huge nachos and great sharing plates! They have fun live music most nights.
The Longhorn Saloon: For the ultimate apres or late night dance party, this is the place. DJ or live music at night. Located at the base of Whistler mountain next to the gondola.
Barefoot Bistro: Refined, upscale dining. Located downtown, but the patio feels tucked away from the busy crowds. Excellent food and cocktails, five star service. Reservations highly recommended.
Table Nineteen: Away from the village this restaurants sits on the Nicklaus North golf course overlooking Green lake. Low-key, great food and a beautiful patio. You don't need to play golf to eat here!
Araxi Restaurant & Oyster Bar: Fun, upscale dining in the heart of Whistler Village. Amazing food and cocktail list, fabulous raw bar, wonderful service. Reservations highly recommended.
The Umbrella Bar: If you take the gondola to the top of Whistler and the sun is out, this is a must stop! They only serve snacks and drinks, but the views are amazing!
