Things to do in New York City

We love to walk around the streets of SoHo and pop into our favorite shops. Almost every shop is dog friendly. We love to walk over to McNally Jackson Books on Prince and check out the cute stores in Nolita or even just check out the art on the streets in NYC. Everyone is super friendly! If your dog is sporty and wants to go for more of a walk, Hudson River Park is a few blocks away that has a few smaller dog parks and is beautiful to walk along the river. NYC really is the best place to bring your dog!

Places to eat & drink in New York City

Yellow taxi cab in Soho

Grab a coffee at Jack's coffee in the lobby of the Soho Grand and head over to the private members-only dog park of the Soho Grand hotel. It is best in show for dog parks in NYC. It is a beautifully designed garden with container flowers and trees, benches for the people to sit and make new friends while their dogs are socializing. It has a real neighborhood feel and you feel a part of the Soho neighborhood.

After your visit at the dog park, head over to the super cute Soho Diner for breakfast for some delish vegan pancakes or a classic bagel with lox plate. I am not sure if the restaurant is officially dog friendly but they let me eat there with my well behaved French bulldog. You can also eat in the hotel restaurant but it is not as delicious or cute as the Soho Diner.

There are tons of places to eat in NYC outside right now that are dog-friendly since more of the restaurants offer outdoor seating or even your own private cabin.
