  • Hiking in Maui
Maui has a number of popular hiking trails that you will find all around the island. Whether you are looking to explore the jungle side of Hana or hike through the Haleakala crater, you will find that Maui offers some of the best views while hiking. Consider taking a hike at the Iao Valley State Park, a 4000-acre valley filled with tropical trails, fresh water and the beauty of nature all around you.

  • Yoga and sound healing
There is no shortage of yogis on the island of Maui. Wake up with a sunrise yoga class on the beach, try a paddleboard yoga class or meet your island tribe at the Maui Healing Center, where there are a variety of classes for all levels. When you're done make sure to check out the giant singing bowl for a next-level vibrational healing session!

  • Farmers markets
Upcountry Farmers Market in Kula is the largest community market on island. Every Saturday for the entire year, you can find locally grown food, incredible flower arrangements and handmade artisan crafts. For all the foodies out there looking to try some local delights, this is the place! You can try anything from fried fish on a stick to cold-pressed juices to raw vegan desserts and the most amazing ramen bowls. This market is a local hot spot and a great place to meet people and show your support to the locals.

  • Sunset beaches
After a day of swimming or walking on the beach, there is nothing better than watching the sunset at the water's edge. Discover some of the best beaches to watch the sunset, like Changs Beach, Big Beach, Polo Beach, Po'olenalena Beach or Maluaka Beach, all located on the south side of Maui.

  • Spa day
Get access to luxury spas and other VIP amenities with a resort day pass. Reclaim your summer with captivating pools, swim-up bars, exclusive cabanas and poolside service. Enjoy amenities such as massages, saunas and relaxing spa treatments without staying the night and make the most of your trip in style!

  • Go on a wellness retreat
Cultivate more connection, energy and inner peace with a retreat experience! Take a drive to the North Shore — between the two historic plantation towns of Paia and Makawao, you will find Lumeria, an educational retreat center. This stunning property is surrounded by lush greenery, Balinese statues and a sacred stone labyrinth to get immersed in. Classes offered include yoga, meditation, healing arts and metaphysical studies, horticulture, dance and movement therapies. Whether you are seeking a weeklong, weekend or a shorter day retreat, this location has got it all.

  • Visit a natural food store
Maui is well known for having award-winning chefs that stay inspired by the many flavors found around the Hawai'ian islands. Luckily, you can find the tastiest and freshest foods all year long when you visit a tropical island. With locally owned natural food stores like Mana, Hawaiian Moons, Down to Earth and Oko'a, you can guarantee that you will find the best locally grown and locally sourced items.

  • Live entertainment
If you are looking for entertainment while saying in Maui, you will be pleased to find out that there are many restaurants, hotels and lobby bars that have live music and hula dancing almost every night of the week. Discover the island music scene at some of these popular destinations: Maui Brewing Company, the Four Seasons lobby, Monkeypod Kitchen or Vana Paia. Take the family out to experience a traditional Hawaiian luau, where the native dancers share stories of Polynesian and Hawaiian cultures.
