Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca - Marrakech

  • Arrive in Casablanca: Start your journey in Morocco's largest city, Casablanca. After meeting your driver guide, visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world, perched on the Atlantic coast.

  • Travel to Marrakech: After the mosque visit, head to the vibrant city of Marrakech in the afternoon. Visit Jemaa el-Fna Square and experience the lively atmosphere of snake charmers, musicians and food stalls.

  • Overnight in Marrakech at a traditional Riad, including bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Marrakech guided tour

  • Morning exploration: Spend a day in Marrakech with a guided city tour that immerses you in its enchanting culture and history. Start at the majestic Koutoubia Mosque, then wander through the lively souks in the medina. Next, visit the historic Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs to learn about the city's rich architectural and dynastic heritage. Enjoy delicious Moroccan cuisine throughout the day. End your adventure at the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square, where you can enjoy captivating street performances and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

Day 3: Marrakech - Imlil Village

  • Imlil Village: Travel from Marrakech to the picturesque village of Imlil in the Atlas Mountains. Enjoy a scenic light hike through stunning landscapes, where you'll be surrounded by breathtaking views and lush valleys. Along the way, visit local Berber villages to experience their rich culture and warm hospitality. After a day filled with exploration and cultural immersion, settle in for an overnight stay in Imlil, surrounded by the serene beauty of the mountains.

Day 4: Imlil Village - Kasbah ait Benhaddou - Skoura Oasis

  • High Atlas Mountains: Cross the stunning Tizi n'Tichka Pass, which winds through the High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking views of the landscape.

  • Ait Benhaddou: Explore the famous Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and iconic ksar (fortified village) that has been featured in numerous films and TV shows.

  • Kasbah Amridil in Skoura: Explore a 17th-century fortress located in the Skoura Oasis in southern Morocco. Famous for its traditional Moroccan architecture, the kasbah features towering walls, intricately decorated towers and charming courtyards.

  • Overnight in Skoura, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 5: Skoura - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Desert

  • Todra Gorge: Travel towards the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering cliffs rise up to 300 meters. Enjoy a leisurely walk along the river through this stunning canyon.

  • Irrigation System Khottarat: Discover the Khottarat irrigation system in Jorf, a remarkable example of sustainable agriculture in Morocco! This innovative irrigation technique harnesses a network of canals and ditches to efficiently distribute water to crops, transforming arid landscapes into thriving fields.

  • Erfoud: Pass through Erfoud, known for its fossils and date production, before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

  • Sahara Desert: In the early evening, embark on a camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes. Here you'll experience a breathtaking sunset over the golden sands and spend a night in Berber Desert camp in the middle of nowhere.

  • Overnight in Merzouga at Desert Luxury Camps, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 6: Desert To Fes

  • Sunrise in the Sahara: Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara. Then transfer out of the dunes by camel-back to rejoin your vehicle to take the road to Fes. Or if you are traveling by 4×4, you can be collected at the camp.

  • Travel to Fes: Your route today follows the course of the Ziz River, north, passing the Tafilalet region (which it irrigates). A region of verdant date palms bordering the Sahara. Pass through the spectacular Ziz River gorge before traversing the Middle Atlas Mountains (at approx. 1900m). On the north of the mountains, you take in part of Morocco’s vast cedar forests (close to Azrou), before reaching Fes late afternoon.

  • Overnight in Fes, including dinner and breakfast.

Day 7: Fes full day guided tour

  • Medina of Fes (Fes el-Bali): Spend the day exploring the ancient medina, home to over 9,000 alleyways and a labyrinth of souks, mosques and madrasas.

  • Experience the culture: Visit artisan workshops, learn about traditional Moroccan crafts. Enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine in a medina restaurant.

  • Enjoy a free evening on the streets of the Medina of Fes.

  • Overnight in Fes, including bed and breakfast.

Day 8: Fes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen

  • Drive to Chefchaouen Via Volubilis: Depart Fes and stop at Volubilis, the best-preserved Roman ruins in Morocco. Walk among the ancient ruins and admire the mosaic floors. In the early evening, arrive in Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Enjoy a peaceful evening wandering the blue-washed streets.

  • Overnight in Chefchaouen, including bed and breakfast.

Day 9: Chefchaouen to Rabat

  • Morning exploration: Begin your day with a guided walking tour of Chefchaouen. The charming blue alleyways, whitewashed buildings and stunning views of the surrounding mountains make this town truly magical.

  • Travel to Rabat: Head to Morocco's capital, Rabat. Explore the historic Kasbah of the Udayas, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and marvel at the Hassan Tower.

  • Overnight in Rabat, including bed and breakfast.

Day 10: Last day

Transfer to the airport at your flight time.
