Fora’s Take

Isla Palenque, Panama: wow! It is on a private 400-acre Island surrounded by beaches and jungles in the Gulf of Chiriquí. A truly untouched tropical island experience. Rich in primary forest, seven secluded beaches and a sacred history of archaeological significance. The hotel is a part of Cayuga Collection, which are all eco-sustainable and luxury hotels. Through its environmental awareness efforts and sustainability programs, it represents a new generation of hoteliers leading the way for intelligent luxury travel.

Need to know

Great place to pair with Panama City! After flying into Panama City, you can relax for a few days or you can directly catch a flight to the David Airport. From there it is about an hour car ride to the port in Boca Chica and a 15-minute boat ride to the island in the Gulf of Chiriquí. You can also charter a private helicopter to take you directly to the island.
