Curator’s statement
My family and I have now vacationed at the SLS Baha Mar twice! It is the perfect spot to make sure people of all ages are entertained. There is something for everyone! This is great for family travel, group travel, birthdays, anniversaries, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc.!
The property is a short ten-minute drive from the airport, so you can start your vacation basically as soon as you land! My family and I booked roundtrip transportation to and from the resort/airport for our trips!
The SLS Baha Mar has 299 rooms in total, with 107 of them being suites. The suites have been recently renovated and are an ideal choice for larger parties needing common space. We personally stayed in an Ocean View 2-bedroom Suite, which had plenty of space for four travelers and common space! The SLS is set within the expansive Baha Mar property, which consists of three hotels — the SLS, the Grand Hyatt and the Rosewood. With a combined 11 pools, water park, casino, upscale shopping and over 40 restaurants and bars to choose from.

Enjoy one of the amazing pools on property — there are a variety of pools to choose from! Kid-friendly pools for adults only. The choice is yours!
If you are with an adults-only group, I recommend reserving a daybed or cabana at Privilege. This is their beach club, which is open until 6 pm daily and has DJ on Friday and Saturday!
Evening
Get ready for the evening and start your night at Monkey Bar in the lobby for a group welcome drink!
Dinner at one of the many restaurants — Our first night we went to Costa at the Rosewood, which was incredible! We had the Three-Cheese Queso Fundido for the table and then I had the crispy fish tacos. Everything was very flavorful and delicious!
Enjoy a delicious cocktail and some live music in The Library at the Rosewood.
Test your luck in the casino! They have a wide variety of tables and slot machines!
Go up to the Sky Bar and enjoy DJ entertainment until midnight! They also have hookahs and tables available to reserve for groups!
Day 2: Boat tour
Morning
Breakfast at Cleo — Each morning, Cleo will provide a breakfast buffet in their restaurant. They also have omelets that you can order.
Afternoon
Boat day!! Spend your day with your entire group on a boat exploring the Bahamas! This can be reserved specifically to cater towards your group. Food and beverages will be included. Snorkeling gear can also be provided.
Evening
Return to the resort and get ready for another evening at the Baha Mar!
Dinner at one of the many restaurants — our second night, we enjoyed Katsuya inside the casino of the Baha Mar. Our favorite starter was the Rock Shrimp, and they had incredible sushi!
Enjoy live music in the Jazz Bar — they sometimes do dueling pianos, which is so fun to watch! This is also near the casino if some of your group wants to gamble while the rest of the group stays here! Or if your group can go to the sportsbook nearby as well!
Go to BOND nightclub at least one night during your stay! Tables available to reserve for groups!
Day 3: Beach & pool day
Morning
Breakfast at Cleo — Each morning, Cleo will provide a breakfast buffet in their restaurant. They also have omelets that you can order.
Afternoon
Beach/Pool day + Baha Bay
Spend your day relaxing at one of the many pools — I would recommend reserving a daybed or cabana at the Baha Bay Beach Club. There are two infinity pools overlooking Cable Beach. From here, you can keep your stuff there and go explore Baha Bay Waterpark, which is full of slides for all ages to enjoy!
Make sure to get a delicious burger at Umami Burger, which can be found inside the waterpark for lunch!
Evening
Return to your rooms to freshen up for another eventful evening!
Dinner at one of the many restaurants — our third night, we enjoyed dinner at Carna. This is their upscale steakhouse! They have so many restaurants, though — there truly is something for everyone!
Now that you are accustomed to the resort, I am sure your group will be able to figure out how to spend your evening. The Monkey Bar turns into a dance party in the evenings as well.
