Day 1: Enjoy the best of Lagos
Once you arrive in Lagos, likely mid morning, check into your hotel and head straight to Quay Bar & Bistro in the Marina for brunch. Before you go make sure to grab one of their fresh smoothies to-go and delight in it on your water front walk to where you'll be boarding your boat tour to Ponta da Piedade. On your tour you will discover the small nooks and crannies of the Alagarve coastline that are only accessible by boat. The Captain will guide you through the sea caves and the narrow passages of the rock formations before heading to the star of the tour, Ponta de Piedade.
Once you've disembarked from your tour, you will head back to your hotel and freshen up for sightseeing in Old Town and a rooftop dinner complete with live music and stunning views.
Old Town has cobblestone streets, street art and traditional tiled houses to appreciate as you make your way on foot to the many sights Lagos has to offer. At the Mercado de Escravos you will learn some of the dark history at the site of the first European Slave Market. From there, head to the Igreja de Santo António (Church of Saint Anthony), you will be amazed at the stunning interior of this 18th century baroque style church.
As the sun is about to set, make your way to the Carvi Beach Hotel and head straight Luca's Rooftop. As you dine, be sure to take in the gorgeous ocean views and enjoy the live music as you wind down from your remarkable day.
Day 2: Downtown Lagos & beach
You will start your second day at Black & White for arguably the most delicious breakfast Lagos has to offer. Make sure to eat up because you have an action packed morning ahead of you on your Guided Scenic Quad Tour. The guide will take you through Lagos' incredible beaches, dunes and trails.
You're going to need lunch after your adventurous morning. First, stop into your hotel for a quick freshen up and grab your beach bag. Then, take a walk to downtown Lagos and make your way to Travia. This is a farm to table, grapes to glass market driven restaurant. Travia is located on a prime corner in Lagos. This culinary experience has a casual stylish ambience.
A trip to Lagos in never complete with out a visit to one of their many magnificent beaches. For a breathtaking view, Praia do Camilo is like no other. Relish in the coastline views as you make your way down the 200 steps to the beach. After you've had your fill of relaxing on the sand, take a walk to the beach through the coastline trail. There are walking tunnels formed into the rocks where you will be amazed, going from darkness and coming out into the light on the other side.
Mar Restaurant and Bar sits on top of a cliff and boasts the best views in Lagos. This will serve as the perfect place to end your two days in Lagos.
