Day 1: Arrive in Napa Valley
If traveling within the USA to Napa, you’re likely to land in the afternoon or early evening. Check into your hotel, freshen up and head to dinner at Farm Restaurant.
Day 2: The wine adventure begins
Wake up and have breakfast at your hotel, then the adventure begins. Catch a Uber to Castello Di Amorosa. This is a beautiful, authentically-styled 14th-century Tuscan castle winery in the Napa Valley. Visit the beautiful castle at your own pace, or with a tour guide who knows the area well. Then, taste some delicious wine.
From Castello Di Amorosa, it is on to Del Dotto Napa. Del Dotto winery has three places to visit, all close to each other. These include PIazza Del Dotto, Del Dotto Estate and Historic Del Dotto Winery & Caves. Here you’ll be greeted with a glass of wine on arrival, followed by a tour of Del Dotto’s historic wine caves. After your tour, you’ll enjoy a wine tasting followed by a real sourdough pizza, yum!
After Del Dotto, it is on to your final winery of the day: Black Stallion Winery. Enjoy a wine tasting on their Garden or Front Terrace, or book their picnic experience if you’re feeling a bit peckish! They also offer wine and culinary experiences on certain days (Perfect Pairings and Vineyard-to-Table Lunch).
Finally, to end off the day, enjoy a delectable dinner at North Block Restaurant.
Day 3: The wine adventure continues - time to sparkle!
Start the day with breakfast at your hotel, then it is on to Domaine Carneros for a champagne tasting. They also do food and wine pairings, if you feel like snacking after breakfast!
Around the corner from Domaine Carneros is Artesa Winery. Not only is the wine spectacular, but the architecture is outstanding. Artesa also has a wine and chocolate pairing if you’re craving something sweet!
Your last winery for the day is Darioush. Enjoy their ‘Invitation Only’ food and wine pairing experience, which is followed by their knowledgeable Connoisseur.
Day 4: Let’s take to the skies!
Today we’re skipping breakfast at the hotel and have a bright and early start of 5:30 (Don't worry, breakfast is waiting at your destination). We are going hot-air ballooning followed by a wine blending experience with Sonoma Ballooning and Meadowcroft Wines. This experience will take around 6–8 hours.
Take a much-needed afternoon rest at your hotel.
Enjoy a lavish dinner at Auberge de Soleil.
