Myeong-dong

Myeongdong is known as the Korean beauty capital of the world. No matter where you turn, there is somewhere you can purchase Korean beauty products, from makeup to skin care.

Seoul Lantern Festival

The Seoul Lantern Festival is held at Cheonggyecheon Stream every year. This beautiful festival highlights life-size lanterns depicting past and present events. While here, you can visit Seoul City Hall, Gyeongbokgung Palace and Gwanghwamun Square.

Hanbok Rental

Have you ever watched a historical K-drama and wish you could wear the beautiful hanboks on display? This is your chance. Hanbok rentals are available throughout Seoul, which include the hanbok, shoes, accessories and hair decorations. Even better, if you are wearing a hanbok, you can get into all the palaces for free.

Animal Cafes

You can find an abundance of animal cafes throughout Seoul, including cat cafes, meerkat cafes and dog cafes. Some cafes only require you to purchase one drink to spend time with the animals. Others do require an admission fee. Make sure to bring a camera or take pictures with your phone of all these adorable animals.
