The World’s Only Cenote Club

Party all day at Buuts Ha Cenote Club, the world’s only cenote club - open daily 11am-10pm but best Fri-Sun when they have great local and visiting DJs. A cenote is a natural sinkhole with crystal clear water coming from ancient underground rivers. Buuts Ha combines this natural oasis with incredible Tulum vibes. Local DJs spin mainly afro, indie, organic house electronic music while bikini-clad dancers parade across the cenote cliff and dive over the waterfall. Corcuera, a local DJ and king of indie dance music runs the musical programming, so you’re in for a treat. Save your appetite - Buuts’ Ha’ boasts an excellent menu of local Mexican cuisine and a robust menu of tequilas and mezcals.

Experience a Tulum Full Moon Party at Papaya Playa Project

Papaya Playa Project (PPP) was one of the first spots in Tulum to host parties and continues to hold its reputation as a must-visit venue on your Tulum party tour. Save your Saturday night plans for Papaya Playa Project and check the lunar calendar - PPP is famous for its once-a-month full moon parties on the beach under the stars. The vibe is amazing here, and the party often lasts until dawn with some of the best DJs and electronic music in Tulum. Also to note, PPP hosts the famous Mayan Warrior party during high season - 100% recommended!

World Famous Tulum Jungle Parties | Rave in Tulum

Tulum is renowned for its jungle parties. You have to go to one to understand what a Tulum jungle party experience entails. A few of the top ones include now a global brand, Zamna, Tulum’s more local 18-hour jungle party put on by Damian Lazurus and crew - Day Zero on January 12th and newcomer TEHMPLO which is showcasing Solomun on his return to the decks in Tulum after a four-year hiatus on January 2nd. I’ll make sure you get tickets (even if they show as sold out) or tables to the best spots in each, as well as VIP private transportation. You’ll also want to be decked out in the latest Tuluminati wear (boho style clothing) and I’ll get you hooked up with top local designers so you look the part!

• Zamna - Tulum’s largest jungle festival happening 10+ nights in December and January as well as select one-off dates. Top DJs and acts such as Circoloco, Gordo, Afterlife, Keinemusik, Rufus du Sol and Tomorrowland grace Zamna stages as aficionados rave well into daylight. 5-25k attendees.

• Day Zero - The #1 annual one-night jungle party in Tulum, favored by locals, on January 12, 2024. 18 hours, 3 stages, endless fun. 10K attendees. Damian Lazurus and Carlos Lopez are partners.

• SET Underground - US-based organizer, which organizes a few top-notch jungle raves during high season.

• Radical - Produced incredible Burning Man-style jungle rave with fire domes in 2023 and plans to up the ante going into 2024.

• Secret Circle - This local organizer of jungle parties known for their excellently curated lineups at epic underground jungle locations will keep you on your feet well into morning. • Mystical Sunset - Mystical Experiences throws their Mystical Sunset event at Mia Beach Club one to two times a month and is known for bringing in top notch electronic music DJs particularly techno headliners. This past 2023, Mystical Sunset celebrated more than 2 years from its creation and more than 50 editions, and so, it is now known as one of the most attractive and engaging recurrent parties in Tulum. It integrates music, feelings, and connections with a varied selection of Djs accompanied by drinks and food, over 6 hours of music and dancing, and some visuals inside Mia Tulum. Tulum Late Night Clubs

Tulum has two nightclubs that stay open after the 1am (beach) and 2am (center) bar and beach club curfews. I’ll make sure you don’t wait in line with access to VIP tables at Zamanik and Bonbonneire. Both clubs host top local and visiting DJs.

• Bonbonneire - High-end indoor (yes there’s AC!) nightclub in hotel zone open til late.

• Zamanik - Trendy speakeasy night club with DJs in Aldea Zama neighborhood open 'til late.

Tulum Party Hostels

If there’s nothing going on at the beach and you’re looking for some hostel frat-style fun, then head to one of Tulum’s top party hostels!

• Straw Hat - Never a dull moment here - spin the wheel for a free (body) shot, but be careful what you wish for as you may end up stripping on the bar or in the pool naked! Packed every night of the week with a fun international hostel crowd and commercial DJ.

• Che - Tulum’s Argentinian party hostel. Similar to Straw Hat, you can count on Che Hostel for a fun time. Spin the wheel here or join in on their regular drinking games by the pool and who knows where the night will end (or with who!)! Also great Argentinian bar fare!

• Mayan Monkey - The largest hostel in town with a reputation for partiers. The hostel bar currently is not open to the public, but many singles book here simply because it pretty much guarantees you’ll find someone to go home with! Large pool and bar area for lounging (and pickups) daytime!

Tulum After Parties - “Donde es el after?”

Tulum is infamous for its after-parties. I’ll make sure you’re on the inside scoop of where to go when everything closes. There’s always an after in Tulum. I’ll hook you up with some of the most exclusive and luxury villa parties where there’s always a beautiful crowd and DJ spinning. Tulum is centrally located on the Yucatan peninsula, which means you're within four hours of many more party spots to complement your time in Tulum - here are my top picks below. I can help curate customized itineraries around the Yucatan peninsula by car or coming in December 2023 is the Tren Maya - a brand new state-of-the-art high-speed passenger train that connects all the major cities. Each location has a different party style, from laid-back beach vibes to Latin music clubs to booze cruises with DJs to deserted white sand islands.

• Playa del Carmen - Beach clubs and great bar scene with electronic and Latin music.

• Cancun - More commercial scene and music but fun to do once. Open-bar options are a plus!

• Holbox Island - A more laid-back island NW of Cancun, but you can still find electronic music dancing under the stars!

• Isla Mujeres - Fun island off Cancun worth a couple nights with a couple newer beach clubs with electronic music.
